1 The Navigators is a new luxury 3 bedroom beach cottage.

Situated only about 100 meters level walk from the stunning beach in Polzeath with sea views from the balcony, this brand new beach style cottage is the perfect place to spend your holidays on the North Cornish coast. 1 The Navigators sleeps 6 persons and comprises of one double bedroom with luxury 2000 pocket sprung king size bed and en-suite, two twin bedrooms all with the equivalent 2000 luxury pocket sprung mattresses, family bathroom, open plan sitting/dining room with kitchen with some sea views to the island from the balcony. Brand new high quality furnishings. Outside there is a sunny seating and dining area on the balcony and private parking. 1 The Navigators can be booked together with 2, 3 & 4 the Navigators next door to sleep up to 20 persons. Linen and towels are provided. Spend romantic evenings in one of the local restaurants watching the sun set over the ocean. Nearest shops and restaurants only 100 meters level walk. Sorry no pets.

Polzeath is one of the world’s top surf destinations and has a blue flag beach with RNLI lifeguards on duty from Easter to October, which makes for a great swimming, surfing and beach holiday.

With the resort of Polzeath right on your doorstep, there is no shortage of activities to occupy you and the family while on holiday. Polzeath beach is well known for its surfing so why not learn to surf and book a lesson with one of the surfing schools on the beach or you can simply hire the equipment. Coasteering, kayak tours and boat trips provide a unique glimpse of the coastline and the opportunity to explore hidden coves, iconic harbours, secret beaches.

Clustered around the beach are some fantastic restaurants and cafés with locally sourced produce. Many restaurants also offer a takeaway option, so if you’re fresh from the sea, you can grab a quick drink and settle down outside and watch the spectacular sunset over the ocean. There is also a well stocked Spar supermarket in Polzeath for all your groceries.

For exhilarating water sports, head towards Daymer Bay and Rock a few minutes away on the Camel Estuary, the ultimate playground where you can take part in wake boarding, kite surfing, speedboat charters and sailing. For land lovers, explore the wonderful walking country over National Trust land with and absorb superb coastal scenery.

You can catch the ferry from nearby Rock to explore Padstow's bustling harbour town, shops and great eateries and famous for Rick Steins restaurants. A short 10 minutes drive further around the coast will bring you to Port Isaac - a picturesque fishing harbour with plenty of shops, pubs, tea-rooms and stunning coastal walks to explore. Nathan Outlaws 2 Michelin Star restaurant is also based in Port Isaac.

The property is so well located and is beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds and excellent bathroom facilities including an outside shower with hot water! Very clean and tidy we had an excellent stay and will certainly rebook as we were very impressed!

Lovely accommodation in a perfect spot!

Everything was great for our stay from start to finish, excellent communication from the hosts, spotlessly clean on arrival and very well kitted out with everything you’ll need. We asked for a spare key for our teenagers and Dominic was very quick to sort this out for us. The hot outdoor shower was welcome after surfing and the sea view from the balcony was a lovely bonus.

Great place and perfect location. Good communication with Dominic prior to arriving. I hadn’t fully realised that it was 2 singles and as we were a family (2 children, parents and grandparents) the second single was tiny with 2 single beds separated and the photo of bedroom 3 says 2 singles with picture of a double bed- I thought these were 2 singles pushed together- a bit misleading. Otherwise great! Thanks

Fantastic location meant two surfs a day even in February. Warm outdoor shower was a joy. Great for the beach and walking along the coast and night time strolls to see the stars. Upstairs living space is well designed. Three rooms for family of 4 with two teenagers worked to give them each their own room but second and third rooms are small and to say it can sleep 6 is......maybe only technically correct!

Beautiful stay Polzeath

We had a wonderful week just before Easter , the location is perfect , a short hop to the beautiful beach , we enjoyed many long walks in the local area along the stunning costal paths . We braved the waves hiring wet suits and body boards which was really easy and convenient from waveriders on the beach . The small pizza truck provided excellent pizzas to warm us after exhausted and exhilarated we returned to our lovely little house . It was super clean , compact downstairs but with two teenagers the seperate en-suite and additional family bathroom was great . The upstairs lounge and kitchen was spacious and relaxing , we had a magical family holiday and hope to return in the near future!

Great Long February Weekend!

We had a lovely long weekend stay at No. 1 Navigators. Despite all that storm Dennis could throw at us we passed the time with short walks, meals out and DVDs. The WiFi and the outdoor warm shower (For the one time we managed to get into the water between wind and rain) were invaluable. The property is excellently located for Polzeath village and beach and has been well designed and kitted out by the owners. We hope to be back in the future!

CLEANLINESS.

After 2 days , I developed an Eye/Nasal allergy,which continued to get worse over the following week . I found I needed to seek advice from a Pharmacist in Wadaebridge ,who recommended various pills. These gave some relief. On the last day, on packing in the Double Bedroom , Icheked under thebed in case anything had slipped underneath, and I noticed a thick layer of DUST/FLUFF, with a asmall pile in the middle. It looked as if there had been no cleaning under this bed for quite some ....probably a year at least! This was the source of my "house mite" irration, ladung tomy Eye/nose allergy. [2] The sitting room Table/LAMP has a faulty connection as it "blew " the light buble on swiching on . Ibought 2 new Light bulbs toreplace ....Both " blew" in a short time...... I left a note for the Cleaner+the 2 bulbs. [3] There was no outside Dustbin [in the recess] , and no other Bins at the other 3 Townhouse, so I took my Rubbish Bag home in the car for disposal in Torbay.

Perfect first holiday as family

It was our first holiday with our little one and It was perfect, the navigators 1 was fantastic and catered to all our needs , the house is beautiful and furnished lovely the view from the balcony is lovely whilst watching the sunset , we had a great week and the weather was perfect , Dominic and Zoe were very helpful and made our stay perfect and provided everything we needed especially with the little one , we can't wait to come back very soon

Beautiful house near the beach

Had a great stay here, ideal base for visiting the area at this time of year. Everything you need for a short break, we visited tintagel and boscastle whilst here. The house is very comfortable and warm, beds really comfortable!!! Room for 2 cars on the drive and walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Great to meet Dom the owner in Polzeath, would recommend and would love to visit again

A wonderful property in a fantastic location just yards from the beach. Everything thought, of even down to an outside shower and drying rack for wetsuits. The owner was most friendly and helpful in suggesting local tracks and trails for walking or cycling. Will definitely be visiting again.

Perfect place as a perfect base

The property is situated literally less than a minutes walk from the beach, local shops and restaurants which was very handy. It's the ideal place to use as a base to visit other parts of the North Cornish coast as well, or just chill in Polzeath. The property itself was fabulous - well equipped with everything we needed and fitted out to a very high standard. The balcony was our favourite place to sit on sunny but chilly evenings as we were sheltered from the wind and could watch the world go by with a G&T or glass of fizz. We will definitely be returning to 1 The Navigators, I would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely few days in the navigators. Location was just a few feet from the beach The property was very clean and had all appliances required Good off street parking for two cars The bead were very comfortable and adequate bathroom facilities for six . The living area was very pleasant with a balcony for out door space . Polzeath is very well catered for as regards places to eat and drinks with lovely views all round We would thoroughly recommend a stay here

Beautiful, light and warm

We had such a lovely week in this lovely house, we all felt very relaxed. Its a minutes walk from the beech so it was easy to go surfing and even better we could come back to the house to get out of our wetsuits and have a hot shower around the back of the house, what a brilliant idea. The house is very clean and modern, with lovely light and one window we could see the see through the village of Polzeath. Dominic the landlord was so friendly and helpful and when the video player stopped working he came straight away and changed it. I highly recommend staying here and I hope to come back soon. Thank you

After falling in love with Polzeath having spent 10 years of coming here on holiday with my wife and twin daughters we finally were lucky enough to move here to live in 2007. With a fantastic community and lots of outdoor activities we are never short of fun times. Spending free time surfing and Gig rowing on the Camel estuary, evenings and weekends on the beach with family & friends, having a BBQ and watching the sun set over the ocean with a glass of wine!!

What makes this property unique

Our cottages are in a fantastic location in the centre of Polzeath with easy access to all the local amenities.
With surfboard & wetsuit hire on the beach along with cafes & restaurants. Being only 100 meters level walk to the beach with parking you do not need to get in a car & pay for parking on the beach & you can pop back anytime to use the cottages.

We have the 2 Michelin Star restaurant "Nathan Outlaw" in Port Isaac and Rick Steins fish restaurants just a 10 minute ferry ride accross the scenic Camel estuary.

Along with fresh mussels and oysters farmed in the estuary and available from the fish mongers in Rock. There is an array of local produce from the farm shop at Trebretherick, locally sourced meat from the butchers , and the best pasties in cornwall for the bakers "Barnecutts"
