Cuckoo Cottage is a delightful property, attached to the owner's home in the market town of Bridport in Dorset, it's in the perfect spot for walking and adventuring near the coast. There is one king-size bedroom in the property, along with one bathroom, and is suitable to sleep two people. The interior features an open-plan living space fit with a spacious kitchen, sitting, and dining area. Outside is a large garden area, partly shared with the owners, with ample outdoor seating. Cuckoo Cottage is a lovely property for a romantic retreat in west Dorset.

Bridport’s market is regularly featured on the River Cottage TV programme. 2 miles south of Bridport is the dramatic Jurassic coast at West Bay, now a World Heritage Site, home to the backdrop for TV's Harbour Lights and the coastal setting for popular Broadchurch, whilst the picturesque resort of Lyme Regis is within 10 miles. A superb base for exploring wonderful West Dorset.

Well located & modern accommodation

Cuckoo cottage is a modern very well appointed one bedroomed accommodation within easy walking distance to Bridport town (10 mins max via short cut). The cottage has every thing you need for a comfortable relaxed stay with a safe secure parking facility. The owners are amenable, friendly and although live on the shared site are non intrusive. Bridport itself is a nice town with two weekly markets, an antiques hall, museum and plentiful places to eat and drink. It is a great location for exploring the Jurassic coast, we journeyed as far as Lulworth Cove to see Durdke Door which was well worth it.
