Good Living home

Located in the most peaceful and beautiful beach in southern Nicaragua.
Spectacular bay of Playa el Coco and peaceful view. Newly built three rooms with king size beds (double mattress), air conditioners, ceiling fans throughout the house and terrace. 2 half bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Dining room and terrace (hammock) all overlooking the sea. Hot water (solar) .TV / DVD, wireless internet parking lot, washing machine, House 6 adults and 2 children. Housekeeping and laundry.

Start the Sun restaurant 200 meters, pool, white sand beach of 1.5 km, small supermarket. Hammocks on the Palaya. Games for children.
Protected area, observation of whales and turtles, birds, monkeys.
Fishing. Surfing and diving.
Other restaurants along the beach.

Ostional beach 5 km, buying fresh fish, boat tours for whale watching, dolphins and turtles and to go fishing. Tours Isla Bolaños.

Great stay at Play El Coco

We really enjoyed our stay at Till's house. The house has amazing views of the ocean (300m away perched up on a hill), the sound of crashing waves lulled us to sleep at night. The kitchen is well equipped. Meal planning was important since there are not shops nearby. The house is spacious and there are some games and books for kids. The A/C in the bedrooms was great. What made our stay most enjoyable was how responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable Till was. His responses were never more than a couple minutes away and he dealt quickly and efficiently with any issues we had. His knowledge and connections in the area were much appreciated by us. We hope to stay at Till's again when we come back!

Beautiful but...

4 girlfriends stayed at is property for a vacation in San Juan del Sur. The house is beautiful and so are the views of the ocean from the house and the nearby beach. The house was however a lot more isolated that we thought it would be. Other than a restaurant on the beach there are no other restaurants or stores or anything nearby. Trying to make local arrangements while at the house for day excursions, etc. was dificult since there is no wifi at this property (it is advertised as having wifi but it does not have wifi). We were uneasy at how many scorpions were inside the house. I alone killed 5 in my bedroom. Also, the lack of water pressure makes showering a challenge. Other than this few challenges, the house is pretty and it made for an 'away from it all' (literally) type of experience.

I never stay in the house because is not what they showed in the picture, it's horrible not recommended at all ,,,, I wish I can have my money back it's a repoof and other words I didn't stay in the piece of garbage all I want is my money back

Just what we were looking for! Great visit to Coco Beach!

This house sits above Coco Beach and has a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean. The house was just as described and just what we were looking for. Quiet, tranquil setting. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. They were ready for arrival and the few issues we had were corrected quickly. Till always responded quickly to any of our needs. Highly recommend!

Amazing place with kind owner

We loved it here. The house was super clean and very pretty. The beds were comfy and check in was a breeze. Once there Till checked on us to make sure all was well and the care taker, Elizabeth, was doting and kind. We felt very safe and well taken care of while having all the privacy we wanted. The house even has a couple of boogie boards they let you borrow. We had a marvelous experience. If you are considering a stay here, don’t hesitate!

Spacious home with amazing views of Playa Coco

My family and I reserved this home for 5 nights in the month of June. The home is quite spacious with 3 rooms, each having a king size bed, and individual air conditioning units in each room. There were 2 full size bathrooms (1 shared between two rooms) which included vanity, toilet and shower. The living room/kitchen/dining room were in one great big space and all appliances were modern and sufficient to cook any type of meal. The home also came equipped with a television with satellite programing which kept the kids entertained with all their familiar programs. What made the house memorable was the patio overlooking the beach, with views as far as Costa Rica. Besides a full dining room table and chairs, the rocking chairs, outdoor couches and the hammock were perfect for spending the evening outdoors looking over the beach and listening the sounds of the ocean. The beach was very calm and perfect for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves. There are basic services near the beach including a restaurant, gift shop, and minimarket all located about 500m from the house. There was also a pool at "Puesta del Sol" restaurant that's perfect for people that don't want to spend all day in the ocean, but unfortunately it was closed for us due to maintenance. It's important to be aware of a few things regarding the location of the property before making any reservations. First, while only being located about 20 km from San Juan del Sur, it takes approximately 30 mins to arrive from the junction to San Juan. The first 15 mins are travelled over cobblestone roads, but the next 13 km is over unpaved roads. Some areas are quite rocky and I would suggest a 4X4 to arrive easier, especially the entrance to the property which is required to climb two steep ascents of 45° from the road to the home. Second, it is imperative that you have your own transportation to enjoy this part of Nicaragua. There are virtually no services near by, so travelling to San Juan is essential for anything including groceries, bank, medical services, etc. Finally, being that it is remotely built in the wild, be prepared to see all sorts of lizards and bugs inside and outside of the home, including moths, geckos, mosquitos, mantis, wasps, butterflies, spiders, flies and scorpions. This was a deal breaker for my wife and couldn't enjoy the last few days of our stay. The view is stunning and the house is spacious, but remember to keep expectations in check and enjoy Nicaragua!

Superb Beach House with Incredible Ocean View

This was our third stay in this beach house which sits above Playa Coco, one of the best beaches in Nicaragua for walking, sunning and swimming. We were a family of six, all adults and there was ample space to enjoy our five nights. The house and kitchen are well furnished and the front porch with its magnificient view of the Pacific has hammocks and confortable chairs. We bought fresh fish, lobster, shrimp and squid for cooking back at the house directly from the fishing coops in Ostional, a community nearby, , where we also enjoyed a fresh fish meal in the Manta Raya Hostel, deliciously prepared, all of these at very reasonable prices. Because the house is within a nature reserve the wildlife is ever present and fascinating to watch, whether in the trees, the beach or in the water. This is a place you won´t want to leave.

La casa es perfecta para pasar un tiempo tranquilo cerca de la hermosa y tranquila playa de coco. Son solamente 5 minutos a caminar para llegar a la playa. La casa, sus habitaciones y la cocina/sala son muy bien equipados. Y vas a disfrutar de una terraza y la vista que nunca vas a olvidar.

Vacaciones estupendas

Venimos llegando de San Juan del Sur, de pasar unas vacaciones estupendas con la familia. Esta casa fue una agradable sorpresa, ya que es muy comoda, muy practica, y tiene todo lo necesario para acomodarse en un grupo grande de 8 personas. Ademas tiene una vista fabulosa y los muebles y decoracion estan muy acordes al lugar. El servicio que nos brindo la Sra Dinora fue muy bueno, y el apoyo de parte de Till,el propietario, tambien fue de gran ayuda para darnos las mejores recomendaciones. La playa es muy linda y lo que mas nos gusto es que es bastante aislada, pero con un acceso cercano a San Juan del Sur (25 min en carro), por lo que cuando se desea ir a restaurantes y al comercio en general, resulta bastante comodo el acceso. La pasamos estupendamente y lo recomiendo para familias o grupos que les gusta convivir con la naturaleza y buscan un lugar tranquilo pero de acceso facil a las facilidades que ofrece una ciudad cercana. La unica recomendacion que haria es que se ofrezca el servicio de internet dentro de la casa, ya que el acceso a internet solo lo teniamos cuando bajabamos a la playa al restaurante.

Una villa con vista de excelencia

Sin duda la casa tiene una vista espectacular sobre la bahia de Coco. Pero no es la unica ventaja de esta casa: su diseño de planta abierta es muy moderno y espacioso y garantiza una buena ventilación. Las tres recámeras tienen aire acondicionados que normalmente no se necesitan debido a la brisa permanente viendo del pacifico. La casa está muy bien equipado y la cocina no la falta de nada; ideal para preparar una cena de gourmet. Hasta la playa hermosa de Coco se llega por paseo corto de 8 minutos. La casa es ideal para familias o parejas que quieren relajar en un ambiente de tranquilidad y naturaleza.

Casa de sueño

La casa es muy bonita con una vista espectacular y ofrece todo de lo que se necesita. En 5 minutos se llega a la playa y es un lugar perfecto para caminar y disfrutar de la naturaleza. Durante el día hay la posibilidad de relajarse en los bares de la playa que tienen piscina y wi-fi. Por la noche es muy tranquilo y solo se escuchan los pájaros cantando. La casa es perfecta para grupos de amigos/as y para familias. Los encargados de la casa han sido disponibles y muy amables y recomiendo a todos/as de disfrutar de esta casa maravillosa.

Beautiful house with a fantastic view

This house at Playa del Coco is a wonderful place with a terrific view over the pacific ocean and the Costa Rican mountains. The view definitely makes up for the 5-7 minutes you have to walk to the beach. The house is equipped with everything you need and matched completely with its online description. The communication with the owner was always friendly and very uncomplicated. I highly recommend a stay in this beautiful house.
