About this property
BURTON FLEMING, pet friendly, with hot tub in Hunmanby
This is an incredible house - from the outside it looks like a period cottage, which it is, but open the door….and there's a stunning, stylish and luxurious interior with a lot of love and thought been given to its renovation with great attention to detail and comfort for a superb holiday.
Ground Floor
The hallway opens into a glorious and large open plan living area with a wonderful wood burning stove - as well as under floor heating - comfortable velvet sofa and window seat. There is a large 42" TV with Blu-Ray/DVD player and music centre.
The kitchen is fabulous and well-equipped with a dining with views of the garden, an ideal space for the whole family to sit, dine, chat and enjoy.
There is a second sitting room/playroom with books, games and 40" TV, which also has a good burning stove.
Off the kitchen is a utility room plus a cloaks/WC.
Leading from the kitchen is a west-facing terrace with table and chairs for al fresco dining and a charming, enclosed garden with lawned area, that's a sun trap in the summer, and can be lit in the evening to enjoy dinner or a nightcap under the stars.
First Floor
To the first floor is a gorgeous, large master bedroom with fitted wardrobes, cheval mirror and an en-suite bathroom with fabulous double basin and a shower over the bath, WC and hand wash basin. (This bathroom is a 'Jack and Jill', with a second door so it doubles as a house bathroom).
There are two more superb double bedrooms with one having a superb en-suite shower room with a shower, WC and a double-size basin with a 'waterfall' tap.
Outside
The garden is enclosed with a terrace, hot tub, table and seating plus a lawn and well-stocked borders.
Visit the wonderful and abundant vegetable garden - fresh available produce is left for guests to use. It’s a gorgeous oasis, with a vast array of fruits and vegetables packing raised beds including red currants, strawberries, garlic, onions, lettuce, fennel, tomatoes, runner beans, green beans, French beans, and herbs – the list is endless! Children love to learn about growing vegetables and this lovely garden is an inspiration for budding, green-fingered youngsters as well as an ideal place for cooks who like to use superb, fresh produce, straight from the soil, to wander and select a few choice morsels for dinner.
Features
The owners provide a 'meet and greet' service with wonderful fresh-from-the-oven homemade baking to welcome you and in the summer, a basket of vegetables from their garden!

Town: Hunmanby is a charming village perched on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, made famous by the artist David Hockney. Surrounded by stunning scenery and beautiful landscapes, this popular bustling village looks down across farmland towards North Yorkshire's historic seaside resort of Filey. Hunmanby lies directly between Scarborough and Bridlington, and still boasts its historic Market Place Cross and Hunmanby Hall Golf Course. It offers excellent amenities, including ancient coaching inns, shops, tea rooms and eateries, as well as a train station offering access to popular Bridlington, Scarborough, Whitby and beyond. Just three miles away sits Filey, a lovely traditional seaside town boasting two elegant promenades and beautiful sandy beaches edged by rows of neat, colourful beach huts. With the rolling countryside to explore and the nearby seaside towns dotted along the North York Coast, Hunmanby is well-placed for an enjoyable holiday.
