Graeme the owner introduced himself and said if we needed anything we just needed to ask. Which I did ask if he had a spanner as we were putting together my Granddaughters toy bike for her Christmas present. Graeme supplied us.
The Barn was cosy and warm. We were there for Christmas as my daughter and Granddaughter lives in workington. We managed to cook the Christmas feast we wanted.
The situation of the barn was only 3 miles from workington so ferrying my daughter and Granddaughter back and to was quick.
I would recommend the barn to anyone.

Difficult stairs
Overall the accommodation was fine, some items in the kitchen were not too clean. Iron and ironing board could not be used as they were badly stained.
Main problem was the handrail on the stairs, which from half way up was hard up again a wall meaning it was impossible to get your hand round it.
Two bedrooms: 2 x double. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen/diner. Sitting room.
