The accommodation was originally part of the Royal Oak hotel which was divided into luxury apartments. There is one double bedroom and one bedroom with bunk beds. The apartment is suitable for 4 people but there is additional bed settee available in the lounge if required. A large lounge with extensive views to the mountains on two sides. Recently decorated to a high standard with a VisitEngland 4 star rating. A lift is available and the building has Wi-Fi. Own car parking space.

The apartment is beautiful and great value. I read people say parking was difficult, I have a 4×4 and had no problems. It is central to Keswick town centre and all amenities. The apartment itself is fully kitted out with everything you could possibly need and is spotlessly clean. Will definitely be having a return visit.
Lovely apartment in the heart of beautiful Keswick
The apartment was extremely comfortable, spacious, well equipped and clean. You are within steps of shops, restaurants and the lake. Hiking trails are very accessible and beautiful! Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly and check-in was very smooth. This is a great place to stay to enjoy the Lake District!
Excellent clean & comfortable flat right in the heart of town
Excellent stay in a clean, comfortable and well equipped flat with fantastic mountain views from the lounge & kitchen windows. Great central location in town for shopping and the Keswick convention. The owners are very personable and helpful providing excellent prompt advice re checking in and helpful information about the flat. The provision of washing machine is most helpful. Will happily use this flat again - many thanks indeed
Fantastic property, with the lounge a highlight. Beautiful views and a very comfortable space. Very well appointed, a wonderful base for exploring both town and surrounding countryside.
Keswick is a charming town in the Lake District. Big enough to have a good grocery store ( Booths ) but small enough to feel like a village. The weekly Saturday market has been held in the center of town for 750 years-great local produce, meats and cheeses, as well as a variety of clothing and household items. Lots of cute shops and a plethora of outdoor activities including wonderful hikes for all levels( recommend Catsbell and Scafell Pike , especially if the weather is nice). . The apartment is located right in the center of town , tucked away on a little side street. It is clean with a fully equipped kitchen and very cozy sitting area. Note that towels are not included, but available from the housekeeper. Secure parking in an alley nearby. Great apartment to relax in after a day out and about! Thank you so much Nigel!

Rough start, good finish
When we first arrived, the property had not been cleaned; after a little difficulty reaching the cleaner she QUICKLY got it taken care of. The rest of the stay was excelkent
Nice apartment in the centre of Keswick plenty of places to eat. Thursday and Saturday is market day on the main square a very scenic location. Car parking for the apartment is in a courtyard across the road but could be tight for a larger vehicle
Lovely apartment fantastic views - lounge is brilliant. Had a lovely stay. Bedrooms good size. My oldest boy loved the bunk beds.

We enjoyed the property and the beautiful view. It is well located to enjoy Keswick and some of the local walks the area has to offer.

Liked: Perfect location, fabulous view, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, quirky layout, wonderfully restored property. Pretty much a 5 star property.
Not so much: towels and toilet paper not included in price. Location of dining table...move it to the "view" room.
This property exceeded our expectations and having been frequent visitors to Keswick in the past (we now live abroad) this is by far the best accommodation we have ever had while visiting. Right in the middle of Keswick with parking included we will certainly look to book here again whenever we are in the UK again
perfect for exploring Keswick and surrounding walks. Spacious, well equipped and reasonably priced accommodation accurately described and helpful directions and guidance from owner. Parking is provided with the flat a very short walk across the street but is a little tricky to manoeuvre into for a larger car!
The flat was well equipped with all you need. Good selection of DVD'S & books and the kitchen had everything you needed. Great location and very helpful having parking space.
Beautiful views of the lake District. We'll hopefully be back one day.
