Fantastic property, very well presented with everything you could need and wonderful views.
Great location for Anstruther and a short drive into St Andrews. Would definitely book again.
This rental far exceeded our expectations! It is a beautiful place, nicely furnished, walkable to town, fully equipped kitchen, and provided more than enough space for our group. The view could not be beat!
We would not hesitate to stay here again.
The Coopers View is a fantastic place to stay. Beautifully finished with spectacular views of the Isle of May and the seashore. Ian and Janis were very helpful hosts and made our stay very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone wishing to visit the Fife Coast and surrounding areas.
Accommodation was first class in an ideal spot. Spent a week with our son and daughter in law from Perth, Australia to relax, play golf, and make memories! Walking the Fife Coastal Trail, pub meals, local shopping, everything was so good, would love to go back.
The home is beautiful! Extremely clean and bed are comfortable. We really didn’t want to adventure much, because of the accommodations. It’s walkable to lots of restaurants. Of course if your a golfer you will be in heaven.
We cannot fault Coopers View. It is a fabulous property, very comfortable, clean and with fantastic owners. We enjoyed our time there very much, it was a wrench to leave.
The home is beautiful. Sea views from both bedrooms and the main living area/kitchen. Open the windows and listen to the sea. It's an easy walk to Anstruther for fish n chips. This is a beautiful area and this home is perfect for exploring.
Ian has to be one of the best hosts we have ever stayed with. The property has amazing views and is very well appointed. Ian is a local there and will want to meet with you when you check in. He has knowledge of every aspect of the surrounding areas including local shellfish, golf courses, restaurants, just about anything. Do not miss spending time with Ian as his generosity really changed the trajectory of our trip!!
This is a lovely property with excellent fixtures and fittings and very tastefully decorated; it is extremely comfortable. The living area on the top floor has a great view over the Firth of Forth from the large expanse of glass, and being able to open both sets of french doors makes you feel as though you are outdoors but with all the comfort of being indoors. The Fife Coastal Path passes the front door, and is a great walk in either direction. Parking is right outside the front door.
Stayed for three nights 8th March accommodation was exactly as described and in the pictures. The cottage was immaculate and Ian , the host was easily contacted and met us at the property.
Views from the top floor are mesmerising. There is nothing to fault this accommodation a lot of thought has been into the furnishings. I loved finding little pieces here and there. Great WiFi too. Short walk into Anstruther and some lovely eating places and little shops to browse.
Our weather was rather wild but that did not distract from our enjoyment of this fabulous accommodation so we will surely return hopefully next time the sun will shine.
Thanks again to Ian & Janis
We had a lovely stay here, we were lucky with the weather and enjoyed the lovely views and exploring the Local area, I especially watching the wild swimmers in the walled pool just to the left of the house. Next time I come I would definitely bring my swimsuit!
The house has everything you could possibly need on hand. I’ve got a bit of a dodgey knee , so I did have a slight issue with the stairs. If your mobility is an issue, this isn’t the house for you , but if it’s not an issue , you really couldn’t ask for a better equipped home, with lovely views , facilities and lovely hosts.
We capped our Scotland trip at the Cooperage before leaving the country. I knew I wanted a vacation from our vacation and wanted to be by the less visited fishing villages along the East Coast and especially along the Fife Coastal Pathway. I saw the reviews for the Cooperage but little did I know it would be the highlight of our stay. The unit is among six units that the hosts had renovated and it exceeded all our expectations- from comfort to amenities to amazing views- and especially the kindness and friendliness of our host Ian, who exemplified the Scottish spirit in welcoming us and ensuring we had a great stay. He made many recommendations and offered local tips, which really helped make our stay top notch. I even (stupidly bc I did not have the right gear for 40deg!) took a quick 10 sec cold plunge in the tidal pool (still a highlight and fun memory!). We will def come back to the Cooperage and stay longer to explore the region and coastal path’s adventures and seep in more of Scotland’s diverse geography and historic culture. And most of all, just relax in Unit 3 and soak in the lovely views of the North Sea.
We had a wonderful stay in Cooper's View. It is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and the views are stunning. Our only complaint is that we only had 3 night there!
Totally agree with previous reviews. A friend and I stayed at this beautiful accommodation which was spotless, well equipped and so comfortable. The views out to sea and the Isle of May were breathtaking and we were fortunate to witness amazing sunrises. Janis and Ian were the perfect hosts, everything was well organised, they responded promptly to our communications and were so thoughtful and attentive. Would definitely return.
Cottage beautifully renovated to a fabulous standard. Such a high quality finish for those who like that luxury feel. So clean and fresh. First time I have been in a property where fresh flowers, candles and chocolates were provided by the hosts. What a lovely touch! The panoramic view from the property is breathtaking. Great coastal walks and lovely restaurants. Will definitely be back. Thanks Janis & Ian.
Stayed previously in Salt Herrings and Driftwood and they were fantastic, so I expected Cooper's View to be equally as good, however it if even better. Had a fantastic week there.
Loved it so much the first time we had to come back. One of the best rentals we have stayed in with everything exactly as described. Spotless, high quality finish, comfortable beds and excellent showers. The view is amazing and the location fantastic. Janice and Iain are perfect hosts. Book! you won’t be disappointed!
This is a lovely property in a very nice area in Fife.
Just what my family and I needed after lockdown.
The house is finished to a very high standard and the view from the open plan kitchen / living room is to die for. Views that go on forever!
Ian quickly answered any queries we had before our stay and couldn’t have done any more for us while we were in Cellardyke.
Thanks again Ian and Janis for your hospitality.
Beautifully renovated 3 story house. Views from lounge/kitchen spectacular of the sea & coast. Lovely area to sit out in near the sea. Everything you need & beautifully decorated. Owner very welcoming. Sue & Ken
