Very clean, well-equipped apartment in a pleasant neighborhood. A great location for exploring Lisbon. Easy walk to the green subway line and Tram 28. Also easy walk to several miradouros. Good restaurants in the neighborhood as well as grocery stores, pharmacies, cafes and bakeries. The apartment is comfortable and has good air-conditioning, laundry washer, dishwasher, and coffee machine. Would definitely stay again.

Driving towards the property from the train station, we initially worried we might not be as conveniently located as we thought. But once we left the apartment and started walking down a couple of blocks, we saw plenty of cafés and restaurants, noticed we were within walking distance to two different metro stops and bus/tram stops, and had no issues at all. We were looking for a quieter location, and this was definitely it! The apartment had everything we needed, including a bottle of wine! I need my room completely dark to be able to sleep, so I was over the moon to see thick curtains AND shades! This was a huge plus—a rare enough find that if I were the host, I would highlight this feature prominently in the description. The only suggestion I made to the host was that it would’ve been nice to have a folding drying rack we could use inside. There’s a rack outside, but it’s too vulnerable to drips from the AC unit and more importantly, pigeons. We loved being able to do laundry, and it was fine to hang dry our clothes inside. Check-in was a bit complicated the first time, but fine once we got used to it. One challenge: there’s a digital key you access through a link the host shares via the VRBO app. It was a hassle to access it when I was having Internet coverage issues on my phone and my partner didn’t have the app/link. So make sure you have internet access and a strong signal! Overall: a clean, comfortable homebase to come back to at the end of each day!

A charming little spot

This expertly decorated apartment was an ideal place for my friend and I to stay at. It was local to many options for public transportation, markets, and restaurants. We very much enjoyed our time here. *Note—while this was not an inconvenience for us, it is on the 3rd floor in a building that does not have a lift.
