About this property

Interior designed large 3 bedroom house with parking near Richmond station

Our bright and spacious house has been lovingly refurbished over past years. It is located in one of the best parts of London - Richmond upon Thames with quick access (20 mins) to Central London (Richmond station is 12 mins walk) and at the same time you have nature on your door step - Kew Botanical Gardens are across the road and Richmond park is nearby. There are some fantastic restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance.

Fast internet 100 mbps wifi.

GROUND FLOOR:

-Fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine, juicer, food processor, lots of pots and pans, Villeroy and Boch cutlery.

- Dining area with patio doors which lead out onto the garden.

- Office space: desk overlooking the front garden, printer, toilet. Fast internet: Wifi is 100 mbps.

1st FLOOR:

- Sitting room with 2 large white leather sofas, a 65`` smart TV with Amazon Video, BBC etc and extensive library. There is a desk here overlooking the garden, so second office space for people working from home.

-Ensuite bedroom: king size bed (150 cm wide) with orthopaedic mattress 1600 springs, blackout blinds, smart TV, Nespresso, wardrobe, chest of drawers. Bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, toiletries. Quality towels and cotton bedlinen are provided.

2nd FLOOR:

- Master bedroom: super king size bed (180 cm wide) with orthopaedic mattress 1600 springs and large TV, chest of drawers, wardrobe, blackout blinds.

- Family bathroom (shower, toiletries and towels provided).

Quality towels and cotton bedlinen are provided.

-Third bedroom is usually used as make up/dressing area and for laundry and ironing. We can place an air bed there, contact me for details.


Garden with a Weber BBQ and brand new garden lounge furniture and umbrella.

Off street parking in the drive in front of the house for one car, let us know if you require parking for the second car.

Home away from home!

We've just enjoyed a wonderful stay at Maria's home! A stone's throw from Kew Gardens and short walk into Richmond, the location of this property was great. The house itself was well-proportioned and beautifully and comfortably decorated -- just like the pictures! We were greeted by a full fruit bowl, plenty of coffee pods/tea, and even a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. We enjoyed breakfast in the garden and evenings curled up in the lounge after putting our kids to sleep. Maria's house in Kew/Richmond really felt like our home away from home and we would highly recommend to others!

The house was charming and beautifully appointed, very clean, and had every amenity we could ever need and is in a quiet locationWe were greeted by a welcoming message from our hosts, wine and shortbreadsThe laundry/dressing room was a bonus Maria contacted us during our stay to make sure we were comfortableThe location close to Kew Gardens and an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and Richmond station was very convenient and the bus stop was very nearThe choice of District Line on the tube or train to Waterloo from the station was handy for trios into LondonWould definitely recommend this home for a very pleasant stayIt wasn’t a drawback for us, but the stairs could be an issue fir anyone with mobility issues, which I believe was mentioned on the website

House cold and the shower broke (twice)

The upstairs shower broke twice (had to contact the owner who didn’t respond until the next day as they were away.). Plumber had to come, twice. Mid level shower was either boiling or cold - barely usable.The house is cold, with the heating on the kitchen was still very cold.

The temperature in the house can be easily regulated by the dial and there is no limit set to how hot it can be. There is an independent radiator on the ground floor which can be used. The guests never mentioned that it was cold during their stay. One of the showers sadly broke down during the guests stay and was fixed the next day, being New Year's Eve. There has never been an issue with the second shower, you just turn the tap to change the temperature. We went out of our away to ammocomdate these guests, with special arrangements for Christmas and did not even get a thank you message in return.

Best VRBO or we ever stayed at!

We rented this beautiful home to be close to Wimbledon Tennis and the location is perfect to either enjoy all the local fare, take in beautiful Kew Gardens or take a quick tube into London proper. The home is even better than described. We arrived to fresh fruit and a bottle of bubbly in the fridge for us. The entire home was spotless. It is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Maria was never more than a text away. Any questions we had were answered within a minute of sending! While the weather didn’t cooperate with us, when the sun did peek out, we thoroughly enjoyed the back garden which felt like a secret garden. I can’t say enough about this property and host. If we come back for Wimbledon next year, we know where we will be staying! Thank you so much, Maria, for making a bucket list trip more than I could have ever imagined!❤️

Why they chose this property

This is a home, not a money making rental accommodation with tired decor and overused facilities. Everything is this house we bought for ourselves and is excellent quality. The house is in a great location right next to Kew Gardens (the guests will enjoy unlimited entry) and it is only 10 minutes walk to Richmond town center. Also lots of restaurants within 5 mins walk.
