About this property

Authentic half-timbered house, completely renovated in 2019, in the heart of the city center where you will find several bakeries, cafes and restaurants, with sunny garden overlooking the old castle from Monschau. Even in the evening it is nice to sit outside in the garden and see the old castle lit up. During the Christmas market period you literally walk through the Christmas market stalls from the house. Everything is within walking distance, including the most beautiful walks and bike rides around Monschau.

The house has 4 cosy bedrooms with comfy double beds and a 5th cosy seperate bedroom with a single bed. In total for 9 persons.

There are 2 bathrooms and 2 extra separate toilets. The first bathroom has a bath with shower option, a toilet and a single sink. The 2nd bathroom has a shower and 2 separate sinks.

On the 2nd floor you find the very cosy living room with flat-screen TV and free Netflix and a closet full of board games and books. Adjacent to the living room you have the open fully equipped kitchen, the dining room and the terrace with garden.

You have a big parking less than 3 minutes walk away. Here you pay only 3 euros per day if you ask for a ticket at the tourist office. Or you can easily pay per hour or per day remotely with your mobile phone.

We also have a large communal bicycle shed for the 2 houses (Holiday House Burgblick 1 and Holiday House Burgblick 2) at the house where you can safely store several bicycles for free.

Ein echter Wohlfühlort :-)

Die Ferienwohnung ist super schön im Ortkern gelegen und dennoch sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung selbst ist total gemütlich eingerichtet und durch die Verteilung auf mehrere Etagen kann man mit der ganzen Familie zusammen sein und sich gleichzeitig zurück ziehen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt total genossen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen :-)

Schönes ruhiges Silvester

Der Aufenthalt für uns sieben Leute war sehr schön. Die Bilder und die Beschreibung entsprechen dem, was wir vorgefunden haben. Wunderschönes renoviertes Fachwerkhaus mitten in traumhafter Altstadt. Gerne wieder!

Wir haben ein wunderschönes Wochenende in Monschau in einem tollen denkmalgeschützten Altstadt -Haus verbracht. Das Haus war modern renoviert und liegt im Zentrum der Altstadt. Der Garten lädt zum verweilen ein. Gerne komme wir wieder.

Why they chose this property

It is located in the heart of Monschau near the Markt where you will find several bakeries, cafes and restaurants. During the Christmas market period you literally walk through the Christmas market stalls from the house. Everything is within walking distance, including the most beautiful walks and bike rides around Monschau. When you park your car in the Monschau parking lot, you actually no longer need your car during your stay. We also have a large communal bicycle shed for the 2 houses at the house.
