Land of Holy Light ..

.. and here I refresh the limbs after the engagement, in the silence of the flowing water and the curls of the swallows. Wood and wood, earth and meditation welcome me.

The house enjoys the position on the border between an ancient village and the wooded hills to the north and south, and a small valley towards the west that collects the vegetable gardens and the sunset.
It's tiny (even if the photos would make it feel bigger), but comfortable and well articulated in three environments: entrance-kitchen-hall, meditation room on a raised platform with a small loft 'the tower', the bedroom. A bathroom with shower. A terrace on the valley below.
It has been finished with a floor of old fir boards of 4.5 cm. thick; an old sink in the kitchen; a beautiful Jotul stove in blue enamelled cast iron.
You can rest on a double latex bed on a base with slats, and a futon with mattress underneath on the platform
The terrace is the perfect place for an aperitif at sunset. Under the terrace a pleasant corner for reading on a wooden platform and two deck chairs.
At home, the kitchen-dining room with wooden floor and a nice square table are a great place to relax, especially while someone is preparing something to eat.
In case of rain the meditation room can be a good corner for reading.
