Beautiful house and surroundings

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house with its breathtaking views and beautiful garden. Our host Jean-Claude was very helpful and we could easily contact him when necessary. Some lovely places to visit nearby, like Nice with its lovely old centre and ofcourse St. Paul de Vence. Definitely recommend this house!

Terrible. Not clean! Bad smell!

Lots of mosquitoes and ants. The house smelled as soon as we walked in. Furniture all worn out. The house had no central air conditioning as mentioned in their description!! We were told by the host to leave as soon as we complained. Waiting for VRBO to do something about our refund. As we left within 10 minutes. Had to look for another accommodation. Extremely bad experience! Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Beds, Furniture in lounge or bedrooms are antiques of the 18 th century, or new !! Except the sofa.!! Of course you need to know what are antiques Mosquitos in a large garden, waterised every day, and on the edge of a forest are difficult to avoid 😂 bur even if we don’t have so many of them, we supply sprays and repellent in every room, even when there is aircon. As mentioned in the ad, if you read it, ALL the bedrooms have air conditioning, and you switched them on !! It’s true I was afraid you damage the house, as I had the feeling you were playing a game to be reimbursed, because your spouses didn’t like the area, too far from their crowded shopping zone, so it was better you leave ! But I submitted the case to VRBO to be sure to act in the right way !!

Calme et panorama

Cette maison est magnifiquement située offrant , de ses grandes baies vitrées une vue panoramique sur la mer et la forêt, et un silence auquel nous ne sommes plus habitués. Sa grande terrasse est idéale pour les repas et apéritifs et profiter de ce paysage. L accueil de Jean Claude est très chaleureux et amical, riche en conseils de visite. Les commerces en centre de village sont accessibles à pieds moyennant une promenade de environ 1km.

I like to have the villa lively, and I love to meet people from around the world, but usually you will barely see me during your stay ( except if you need )

Why they chose this property

The villa is on the Côte d Azur, 4 miles away from the sea , 1 mile from the trendy village of Vence, but when you enjoy the terrasse you are the only one in the world, with just the sound of cicadas and birds.
