Mi Capricho Front Line Beach Ground Floor Apartment
A beach lover's dream apartment complex, Mi Capricho is right on the beach in Calahonda, one of the most successful beachfront properties in the area. This front-line beach complex has four blocks strategically located around two large kidney-shaped swimming pools. Situated in the heart of Calahonda with access directly off the main N340 road which links Malaga with the Marbella area of the Costa Del Sol. Shop, restaurants, bars and entertainment are all within walking distance from the complex. Two large kidney-shaped swimming pools are the centrepiece of the complex. The complex also has a kiddie pool, underground parking for all guests and a beachfront tiki bar. The back pool is open all year. The main pool at the front is seasonal, usually from April/May to September/October, weather permitting. The tiki bar is also seasonal and opening times may vary depending on weather, etc. Calahonda is popular for its array of shopping, and local markets conveniently located just a walk from the complex. The area has a great selection of restaurants and evening entertainment.
The boardwalk extends from La Cala de Mijas to Cabopino passing through Calahonda. The boardwalk continues across the Cabopino sand dune nature reserve. Our guests can access the boardwalk directly from the community gardens and enjoy a brisk walk or a gentle stroll along our beautiful coastline. The boardwalk forms part of the Senda Litoral De Malaga (Malaga coastal path) and when eventually completed will run from Nerja to Manilva and span 163kms. The boardwalk has bars and restaurants along the way as it hugs the coastline.
Mijas Costa: 6 Miles of some of Spain's best beaches running from Fuengirola to Marbella at the heart of the Sunny Costa del Sol. The perfect quiet holiday spot for sun worshipers and golfers alike being well away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts.

Smart, well-equipped apartment in a great location. This downstairs apartment is very private, looking directly out onto the sea. It is perhaps 50 metres from the sea and from a wooden boardwalk which runs along the coast for several kilometres to east and west, and there are lots of good restaurants and bars within a 1-2km walk.The apartment provided a great base (with our car) to visit great places for a day out like Marbella, Ronda (absolutely stunning), Gibraltar and Malaga City.The host was very friendly and communicated clearly throughout. I definitely recommend this apartment for a holiday with couples, or for a small family.

To clarify for future guests: while the main entrance to the complex is near the main road — which provides excellent access to public transport, shops, and restaurants — the apartment itself is located in one of the front blocks, just meters from the beach, with full sea views. It is not within sight or sound of the main road and offers a peaceful and relaxing environment.

Alan's flat is spacious and very well equipped with everything you might need - and even more. We enjoyed the evenings on the terrace, the pools, the views.
I brought my adult autistic son to Mi Capricho. We had an excellent week. The nearby restaurants were accommodating for special dietary requests. We hired a car and visited local attractions and also enjoyed the on-site pool for swimming and relaxing
Our stay was made all the better by the location of this apartment. It was inviting, clean, spacious and the view from the living room was amazing. It was just what we needed. Swimming pool, walks, beach, cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and public transport all there. Within walking distance. It was the best week, all topped off with beautiful weather.
Such a peaceful area, come and go as you please, resort bar is handy, cater for everyone. It’s a nice area if you like walking along the board walk and stopping to have a drink. Taxi for day trips are reasonable price. We use the BOLT app.
The apartment is very well equipped and ideally located on the sea front within a secure complex.
Communication with the owner and his local agent was clear and effective.

Ground floor apartment was ideal, all you required in an apartment was available. Access to boardwalk/beach in touching distance. Restaurants/shops 10/15 min walk. Grand location. Marbella 30 mins by bus one way Fuengirola the other
The apartment was lovely and spacious, it was homely and had everything that you needed. The location was great, there was a nearby supermarket and lots of different places to eat. The Mi Capricho complex was peaceful and well kept. The apartments garden area was a nice place to sunbathe if you didn't want to lay around the pools although these we also nice to be around. Overall we had a great stay and would 100% return.
The property is in a lovely complex, very secure and in beautiful gardens opening onto the boardwalk. Two bathrooms meant it was ideal for the four of us and the kitchen was very well equipped. UK TV is also there if you want it. Lots to do in the area, and really easy to get around via bus or taxi. Highly recommended!!

The apartment was excellent and it had everything we needed, location was good and plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, lovely beach at la Cala not that far away, you can walk there in about an hour but not recommended in the heat of the day, overall a great place to stay
Lovely furnished apartment with direct access to the pool and beach. The apartment had everything you could wish for and was spotlessly clean and on a fabulous resort. The site was quiet and extremely well maintained and was in a good position with bus stops and taxi ranks right outside the resort, together with a well stocked supermarket. Our 3 year old enjoyed the pool and play park. Overall an excellent holiday in a fabulous apartment and on a well maintained site.

Great communication from the owner. The apartment is extremely well appointed and set in a small beautifully maintained complex just yards from the beach and boardwalk.
All amenities are within walking distance and taxis are relatively cheap and readily available if required.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location for the sea view, found the beach directly in front of the apartment a little disappointing, but 100m either side more than made up for it

We stayed for a week at Alan's apartment and found the location and setting very peaceful.
There was a small delay and some confusion in us checking-in to the apartment, which Alan resolved very quickly.
Mi Capricho is so well maintained with beautiful gardens.
We spent many hours on the terrace with the sea view and found we could easily walk in either direction to find some great restaurants. The location is one of the best we've stayed at without the need for a car.
We used Alan's recommendation for the taxi back to Malaga and Leo was very attentive and professional.

The development is superbly positioned close to a wide range of bars and restaurants. View from the patio/ garden is beautiful, front line overlooking the sea. The gardens it is set in are kept to an extremely high standard. The apartment has all the facilities you would expect at home. Fabulous holiday. Sorry but I cannot find anything remotely negative to say about it. Already looking at re-booking for later in the year
Just returned from our lovely relaxing stay at Mi Capricho. Property was just as described with all the amenities to ensure your stay is made homely. We were met and shown round the property by the agent, giving us all the information we needed to start to enjoy our stay.
The location of the apartment cannot be beaten, the views of the Mediterranean and the swimming pool/gardens of the property were wonderful.
The apartment is well maintained and we felt able to relax and make the most of the facilities during our three week stay.
The restaurants are all within a 15 minute walk, with shopping facilities a 10/15 minute walk away too. All you need for your stay in the area. We made the most of the local bus service to Marbella and Fuengirola; also a day on the bus/train to Malaga, all easy forms of transport to use.
While we were staying we were lucky enough to meet the owners of the property as they were in the area. They gave us some great tips for restaurants and made us feel very welcome in their apartment.
Would definitely stay again when in the area.
My husband, 16 year old daughter and I stayed in Alan's lovely apartment for 9 nights, our first family holiday abroad since COVID, and we definitely made a great decision choosing this accommodation.Location was perfect for supermarket and restaurants nearby to keep my daughter entertained, yet apartment was within private & secure complex facing beachfront, therefore ensuring peace and quiet away from the amenities, enabling us to fully relax. We could have spent all day looking at the seaview and the little birds that frequent the well-kept gardens throughout the complex.The apartment had everything you can possibly need, I like to cook & usually find myself having to buy something that I can't find in the kitchen, but this was not the case in this well maintained apartment. My daughter very much loved having the refurbished shower room all to herself, plenty of hot water for baths and showers at all times.Both pools were actually open, with the pool areas kept very clean & the lifeguard was always in attendance at the front pool, ensuring safety at all times.What was great is that a 30 second walk from the apartment was a secure gate straight out onto the boardwalk, where we walked to both ends and back on different days (approximately 5-6km walk to La Cala de Mijas, which was worth visiting). The communication with Alan from initial booking to when we arrived home was excellent.I wouldn't hesitate in recommending or booking this lovely apartment again.
