Monterey is a small secluded town with one general store, the Bidwell Museum and a few small farms where you can get fresh milk, eggs, pork, chicken, maple syrup, goat cheese, fruits and vegetables. It is only a 15 minute drive to Great Barrington where local gift shops, organic grocery stores and farm-to-table and gastronomic restaurants are located.
