The quiet bedroom is accessed through a sliding door with a beautiful garden view. It has a comfortable double bed and an en-suite shower room.

Caledonian Road is a very old street. The house that you are in was built circa 1890 (same period as the Tower Bridge). The road is between the stylish, new Kings Cross area with its brand new Coal Drops Yard, hip restaurants, Arts and Fashion school, and the canal (10 mins walk), and the beautiful Upper Street (Angel) with its unique restaurants, pubs, small shops, and urban lifestyle (12 min walk). The “Cally” remains to be a working-class street with its Pawn shops, Graffiti, and cheap restaurants, even though merely a stone throw away from London’s greatest neighbourhoods.
Kings Cross and Angel:
Walk only 10mins to Kings Cross' Granary Square and 15 minutes to Kings Cross & St. Pancras stations (with Piccadilly, Northern, Hammersmith/City, Circle, and Victoria underground lines, Eurostar to Paris, and other rail services) and 15 minutes to Angel tube station. Double-deck buses 17, 91(N), 259, and 274 are about 100m from the flat and will get you into Camden, the British Museum, etc.
To Airports: - Gatwick: 48mins from Kings Cross with Thameslink train (ca 12 GBP) - Stansted: 70mins with Victoria line to Tottenham Court Road and then Stansted Express (book way in advance to get cheap tickets), or Easybus from Old Street, - Heathrow: 54 minutes with Heathrow Express from Paddington or 80mins with Piccadilly line from Kings Cross (5 GBP)

Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity, we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without a refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).

My partner and I had the most wonderful stay at this flat and couldn’t have had a better week. Entering to the clean, well thought out space after our long flight really set the perfect tone for us and started our holiday on a high note. The location was absolutely amazing, being so well connected to all of London and even greater London, making it easy to explore everywhere we wanted. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything we needed, and the bedroom/bathroom were spotless, clean, and very comfy/cozy. The neighbourhood itself was lovely, with plenty of food options, shops, and necessities all within a 10-minute walk. Communication with the host was honestly the best I’ve ever experienced. So responsive and thoughtful. We can’t wait to return on our next trip!

Excellent location to all TFL buses and trains. Multiple grocery stores within walking distance along with many pubs and excellent restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay again. GuestReady is great.

Well located. It’s a good thing that the bedroom is on the back and not on the street because of the noise. The flat is clean and well equipped. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by the bad bedding.

This was a last minute booking from New Year's Eve for three nights. I loved the apartment but a few hours in, disaster struck when the washing machine overflowed into the kitchen sink which overflowed through the kitchen cabinets, over the floor, under the island and into the living area. Although I was quick to start the clean up, I couldn't stop the water pouring out so it was a huge effort and not how I'd intended spending my NY's Eve evening. I contacted the host who didn't seem to appreciate what I was dealing with, took 24 hours to get a cleaner to the property and two days to get a plumber to fix the blocked drain. Meanwhile, I couldn't use the dishwasher, washing machine or kitchen sink. I was first offered GBP12.22 in compensation by Guest Ready - having had to request it - which was later increased to GBP55. An absolute insult for all of the work I did potentially saving that property and the one below from thousands of pounds of damage. The ongoing inconvenience factor was significant, including the time it took both at the apartment and following my departure. Vrbo came through with another CAD70 which was appreciated but as a host myself, I'd have offered at least one free night including the cost of taxes, etc. Some hosts just don't seem to care about their guests or their reputation. I therefore cannot recommend Guest Ready as a host. Avoid at all costs.
I truly enjoyed my stay in this flat. Well-appointed indeed, with everything there and shops close by for whatever I needed. Lovely, homey touches, with all the modern conveniences. Mind the note about the narrow staircases, however. They weren't exaggerating.
