Set amidst the woodland, this secluded detached lodge offers sea views and a chance to see wildlife nearby.. Ground Floor:

Open plan living space.

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. LPG central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. . Enclosed garden wioth patio. Balcony with outdoor furniture. Grounds (shared with owner and other properties on-site). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This alpine lodge nestled amongst the woodland offers stunning sea views, sitting in an elevated position the lodge offers very comfortable accommodation throughout. There is an open plan living/dining/kitchen area which offers a spacious feel, with patio doors that lead to a private patio where you can sit and enjoy the views. On the first floor there is a master bedroom and a twin bedroom both served by a family bathroom. There is private parking adjacent to the lodge.

The property is located near to Chanonry Point which can be seen from the lodge, this is one of the best places in Europe to watch bottlenose dolphins. The whole area is a mecca for wildlife, including pine martens, buzzards, roe deer and otters.

The owner who lives on-site, is always on hand to help and advise on the spectacular walks around the lodges. The area is ideal for cycling and walking and is steeped with local history. The nearby villages of Fortrose and Rosemarkie offer a superb selection of public houses serving food, and a range of shops providing provisions and gifts. Golf can also be found nearby. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Heather Lodge can be booked together with Callachy Cottage (ref UK7047), Pine Lodge (ref UK7049), Gorse Lodge (ref UK7050) and Thistle Lodge (ref UK7051) to accommodate up to 20 guests.

Fantastic location, great compact lodge.

Fantastic location, great compact lodge.Brilliant for mountain biking and walking- on the door step.Great beach only 5 minutes in the car, you can even see if thetide is out from the lodge.Seating/sofa very low and soft, not good for back.Sleeps up to four but only 2 outside seats.Would definitely book again but would take some firm cushions.

We had a brilliant week and loved staying in the lodge. There was everything we needed for a weeks stay. Everything was very comfortable and of a good quality. The beds and sofa were very comfortable and the bed linen was lovely. The view from our lodge was incredible! We couldn’t make the wifi work but didn’t enquire how to sort this out as we didn’t need it. The owner came and introduced himself and we were made to feel very welcome. Although there is nothing on hand (walking distance) in terms of amenities, shops, restaurants etc there is plenty locally in Rosemarkie, Fortrose and Cromarty, all a short drive.
