Come Experience Beautiful St. Augustine Beach.

Seaside Villas is family and pet-friendly condominium complex within a few blocks from the St. Johns County Ocean Pier. In addition to easy walking or biking access to the white sand beaches, local shops and restaurants, the Beach Retreat Condo offers a community swimming pool with sunbathing surround, and and an outdoor shower.

Our condo is beautiful and well appointed, but the first thing you'll notice is the colorful decor and Beach Retreat feel.

The Beach Retreat at Seaside Villas is a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom air-conditioned unit that sleeps up to 4-5 guests. Walk into the inviting living room where you’ll find a decorative corner cabinet, a classic surf board on the wall, tasteful ocean home wall decor, comfortable leather sofas and a 42-inch LCD Smart TV so you won’t need to miss any of your favorite shows. The free WIFI makes it easy to check out area attractions, send your vacation photos to friends and family back home and even do little work (if you really have to).

Whether you've been walking the historic streets of the Old City or strolling the pristine beach, you will be delighted with the feel of cool tiled floors in the living room and the drift wood style floors in the bedrooms!

Cooking may not be in the cards for your vacation, but even if you're planning to dine out for many of your meals, you'll enjoy the efficiency and convenience of the gallery style kitchen, with newer white appliances and cupboards filled with cookware, dishes, and utensils. A microwave stands ready to reheat those fabulous leftovers, and a coffeemaker for making your favorite brew or a smoothie with our Ninja Blender while listening to the ocean waves from the front patio.

Your favorite place inside the condo will probably be the bedrooms. St. Augustine has so much to do and see that you'll come home tired after each new adventure, and there's nothing like a great night's sleep to refresh you for the next day's events. We have taken great pride to provide you with luxury bamboo sheets and pillows and plush memory foam mattresses, with relaxing furnishings and decor to help you rest well.

The master suite is appointed with a queen-sized bed, flat-screen TV, and private bath as well as a ceiling fan for that gentle breeze.

The second bedroom is perfect for an additional couple traveling with you or for children. It contains 2 twin beds with memory foam mattresses, bamboo pillows and sheets plus a nightstand and a medium size dresser. This room is decorated with the same inviting beach decor and shares a full bathroom with the living area.

We have tried to provide the "extras" for your stay. We provide an ample supply of quality towels and linens, extra bed pillows and fuzzy cozy blankets. We offer each guest coffee, coffee filters, creamer and a vast assortment of cooking spices/oils!

Feel free to use our stackable washer and dryer to keep all those swimsuits and beach towels fresh, (detergent provided) and bring your electronics if you like or play your favorite stations on iHeartRadio -- you have free WiFi at the Beach Retreat.

Take full advantage of our Beach Package which includes, beach towels, 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a wheeled cooler, a beach cart, sun hats, beach bags, and sand toys, all included with your reservation.

Our intention is to make your stay here at The Beach Retreat as relaxing, worry-free and enjoyable as possible. If you have any special requests or needs, such as grocery shopping prior to your arrival, planning a special occasion like a birthday, anniversary or engagement, please let us know how we may assist you. We are here to help in every way possible!

Our community pool is open year round however subject to closure. Room rate is not based on common amenities.

I offer Smart TV applications such as sling, Netflix. I do not have regular cable channels however do offer 75 channels with the smart tv app.

Pool closures may occur.

Please share breed and weight of dogs prior to reserving for authorization.

Lovely comfortable ground floor condo in a great location with a caring and responsive owner

This was a trip for just my wife and myself, for two weeks, to escape winter. The condo is well-equipped, and we couldn't think of anything we were missing, in terms of amenities. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen functional, etc. I also give kudos to Stephanie, the owner, who is super-responsive, before and during the stay. Really great.

We enjoyed our stay of three nights. Unit was comfortable. Our party was two adults and our daughter and her friend. Unfortunately, the closest part of the beach was closed at the time we were there, We enjoyed walking to the pier and the local restaurants nearby, which permitted our dog to join us on their outdoor dinning areas.

A perfect place

Two of us stayed with our pet black Labrador. The apartment was great: a clean, neat, fully functional two-bedroom, two bath apartment with all of the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay away from home. It's location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and a 10 minute drive into St. Augustine. Our hostess, Stephani, responded very quickly to several questions leading up to our stay. The whole experience could not have been better.

Excellent stay for a long weekend

The property was better than we expected! We were in town for the Florida-Georgia football game and 4 of us stayed very comfortably for four nights. It was very clean, the beds were super comfortable, it is less than a 1/4 mile to a beautiful beach and close to three good restaurants: Sunset Grille, Cafe Eleven and the Beachcomber. It is an easy 10 minute or less drive to historic St. Augustine. We made use of the beach cruisers for a bike ride to breakfast at Cafe Eleven and then onto the lighthouse about 4 miles away. I highly recommend this property and Stefani and Jayson were very gracious hosts.

Car Show Getaway

Great condo for a quick trip to St Augustine. Very well stock. Good neighborhood and the neighorbor are nice and quiet. We were there for a car show, so explored the area some, but not as much as we could have. Great location. Close to everything that we wanted to do. The beach access right by the house was closed, no fault of the listing, but it would have been so nice if it was open for night walks. We just had to go a little further down the road to the next access to get on the beach by the pier. The condo is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay near the beach.

The unit itself is nice. Decorated in a beachy theme. There are a few things that need to be addressed. The shower in the hall bathroom makes loud noises when you turn it on, the TV is connected to Wi-Fi and gets kicked off often, the unit is on the first floor so the bug situation is intense. Anytime you open the door something flies in. In addition the pool for the community is not maintained and was dirty both times we went to it.

Nice and close to beach

Didn't start morning walks on the beach until late in the stay. Our mistake. Beachcomber and Salt Life are a short walk or drive and very nice. Wanted to play tennis at YMCA, but did not. My bad again. Very well equipped except Owner needs a faster wireless router and better remote in bedroom and fix broke blind in bedroom so can sleep in late without sun in face. We are bad vacationers. We both worked some. Thus, the need for faster router. Alternative is to buy 25' ethernet wire for $15, which I did on 3rd day, and run wire from router port to laptop.

The good news: The condo is only 0.25 mi from the beach, and the unit was clean. The bad news: The condo is old and needs lots of updates. The furnishings are junky, like they were bought at a yard sale and painted beach colors. The memory foam mattress in the master has a huge sag that left my back sore. The ceiling has no sound insulation, and you can hear kids running around constantly. The TV does not have cable and doesn't receive CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, CNBC, Golf Channel, etc.. The water pressure in the kitchen and bathroom sinks is so low as to make them almost nonfunctional. The exterior of the building is covered with mildew. We left 4 days early.

Beautiful House!

My daughter and her friend loved the beachy decor a lot! The place was clean and the master bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of supplies there, too. Everything you need in the kitchen, beach towels, and toiletries. We were just minutes from all of the sites in St. Augustine and very close to the beach.

Having visited the area for the last 3 years, feeling connected to the community developed quickly and now they live and play in the sun year round! Living a block away from the Beach Retreat, they are excited that their guests can experience island living too!

Jayson enjoys fishing, biking and is learning the art of surfing. Stephani is a self-proclaimed beach bum and enjoys her 2 pups, helping others and volunteers at the Betty Griffin Foundation.

Both Jayson and Stephani are committed to ensuring your time here is relaxing, fun and full of adventure!

Why they chose this property

Prior to making St. Augustine our home, we traveled here 7-8 times per year, staying at various vacation rentals on Anastasia Island. Over the 3 years we spent as visitors, we learned what amenities were crucial to an enjoyable stay, what location was most desirable and what type of community we wanted to stay in. The Beach Retreat is everything we could have wanted and more!

The community, SeaSide Villas, is quaint, private and represents the Island charm in the perfect location. We decorated the unit with attention to the smallest of details in order to provide guests with a complete Beach Retreat getaway vibe, full of those little extras that make a big difference.

We provide essential beach items such as cruisers/bikes, beach chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler, sun hats and even sand toys! We offer our guests beauty essentials such as a hair dyer, lotion, body wash, luxury towels, q-tips and cotton rounds. The comfortable beds have bamboo bed pillows and sheets, fuzzy blankets, and the rooms have ample space for guests to relax.

We provide board games, smart tv's, wifi and a fully functional kitchen with items like sandwich baggies, cooking oils and spices, coffee filters and a water filter pitcher. All of which were very important to us during our visits here but very difficult to find.

We have taken great pride in our Beach Retreat and look forward to our guests experiencing all it has to offer!

What makes this property unique

Smaller complex, easy access to beach and local shops and restaurants, close to biking and running trials, pet friendly and hearing the ocean from your patio! Our building is exceptionally quiet with friendly and respectful neighbors.
