Oak Apple - Converted Barn In An Attractive Courtyard On Our Family Stockfarm
Our property is made of 4 barns, which all have Gold Awards, and which are set in an attractive courtyard and all have their own private patios with garden furniture. They have been converted from the original old farm buildings and we were keen to keep all the character. We are a family run farm presently rearing Aberdeen Angus for Waitrose and have a flock of sheep. Lambing takes place in April and guests are welcome to be involved in this. They are also welcome to explore the farm and make use of our 2 coarse fishing lakes, or our indoor heated swimming pool. We have 3 very friendly working collies, Fly, Bryn and Skip, farm cats, 2 miniature shetland ponies called Ollie and Berry, and several chickens. The farm is located on the edge of the beautiful New Forest and so ideal for walking, cycling and riding.
An ideal base for walking, riding and cycling in the New Forest. Also near Salisbury, Winchester, Portsmouth Historic Dockyards, Beaulieu Motor Museum, Paultons Park ( Peppa Pig World), Mottisfont Abbey and the coast to name a few.
This advert is for our barn called Oak Apple which is all on one level and has a large open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and microwave. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the laundry room shared by the 4 barns and where there is also extra freezer space and tourist information leaflets plus space in which bikes etc can be stored. The lounge area has a freeview TV and DVD player. One end of the barn is a double room ( with king size bed) and en-suite shower room with large shower. At the other end is a twin room with 2 single beds and an en-suite with bath with a shower over it. Oak Apple is very tastefully furnished to a high standard, having retained its original character and oak beams, and is heated by underfloor heating. The price includes all bedding and towels and use of the indoor heated pool. Outside it has its own private patio with garden furniture and shared use of the attractive courtyard, where the gates can be closed to allow children to play safely.

Heerlijk zwembad! Mooie omgeving voor wandelingen. Leuke plaatsen in de buurt om te bezoeken, Isle of Wight, Winchester, Bournemouth en iets verder maar zeker de moeite waard is Bath.
Excellent stay at Apple Oak.
Spacious, very clean, well appointed and all this on a working farm with cows, dogs, cats, sheep and access to the fishing lake where I caught my 1st fish.
Highly recommended.
Thank you.
The barn was so nicely converted and decorated. We felt very cosy and comfortable and immediately at home there. The courtyard and gardens were lovely too. It’s an excellent base not only for the New Forest but for the Test Valley and places like Romsey, Stockbridge and Winchester. We would certainly consider another visit.

Get away from it all in Luxury.
The "barn" we stayed in was first class. Lounge/dining/kitchen was spacious and airy, the bedrooms had comfortable beds and the bathrooms were of a high standard and roomy. Unfortunately the picture provided with this review is of a different barn (I didn't have a choice). We had the freedom of the farm to go roaming or we could just walk down the lane and cross the main road to see the ponies of the New Forest.
The courtyard is safe for children to play in and the utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, toys for children and DVD's for the family to watch.
We will be returning here in the future, sooner than later.

We have been farming cattle and sheep at Pyesmead Farm since 1981 and have now been joined by our son Robert. We opened our Bed and Breakfast in 1987 which we have really enjoyed running over the years, and still welcome guests to this day, having made many friends over the years. We converted our old redundant courtyard of farm buildings fairly recently and now have 4 very lovely individual cottages to offer to holiday makers.
