Outside, the large garden has seating, lovely country views and direct access to 160 acres of land with a nearby stream.
South Molton has shops, restaurants and tearooms, with local produce and handmade goods for sale at the historic, twice-weekly Pannier Market. Visit the fascinating Quince Honey Farm where you can watch millions of busy bees hard at work, safely behind glass. For wild ponies, wooded valleys and tumbling rivers, head to Exmoor (10 miles).
