We had a wonderful stay at this Holyrood apartment! The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk to all the major attractions, shops, and restaurants, which made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable. The apartment itself was spotless, cozy, and offered stunning views that made our mornings and evenings extra special. A huge thank you to Anne, our host, who was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to help us extend our visit by an extra week, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommend this lovely spot for anyone visiting the area!

Pamela thankyouo for your king words in your review. I hope you loved being near your daghter for her graduation. From Anne
Quiet location and large enough for a big family. Lovely walks out to Holyrood, Calton Hill and Arthur’s Seat and not far to walk into shopping at Meadowbank or even all the way to Leith Walk or Old Town. The listing mentions a dryer, but there is only a drying rack. We were there on warm days so it all worked fine, but in damper weather that could be a concern. There is no lift so be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights. Anne was a great host, helpful when we contacted her and with a very useful house guide book provided.
I unexpectedly needed an extra week in Edinburgh, and this homey, but spacious and (sunny!) flat exactly fit the bill. Great kitchen, a real dining table, pleasant sitting room. Very convenient to Edinburgh's excellent bus system. Enjoyed Holyrood Park every day, and tea at the Palace Cafe (5-7 min. walk to bottom of Royal Mile). Scottish Parliament and Dynamic Earth maybe 10 min. Short on neighborhood eateries, but nice lunches during sightseeing made for simple suppers "in." For golfers, North Berwick, home of the Scottish Open is 45 minute drive, with many other courses along the south side of the Firth (in case your family has split interests, like mine). Anne is an attentive and courteous host.
