Villa Marija is a spacious villa set on a hillside with fabulous views over this quiet Dalmatian village, and of the lush countryside around, the sea ahead and the mountains of the mainland in the distance.

The villa is located in a quiet neighbourhood just 150m from the nearest beach and 1,5km to centre of the village where you can enjoy dining by the harbour and relax at the village cafe bars.

Entrance to the villa is up a few stairs from the private parking in front. To one side of the villa, with beautiful countryside views over the bay, is the 24 sq m pool with large sunbathing terrace.

The ground floor apartment comprises a large open plan living dining room with a fully fitted kitchen. Double doors open onto a sea view dining terrace for sits 8 guests.

On this level is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and showerroom.

Outside stairs go to the upper floor where there is second apartment. This comprises another large open plan living dining room with a fully fitted kitchen.

Double doors open onto a dining terrace with stunning sea views. This dining area sits 6 guests.

On this level is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and shower room.

On all 3 sides of the villa are large gardens and terraces for outdoor dining and relaxing. There is a traditional BBQ grill for grilling fish and meat.
There is parking for 2 cars in the private off street parking space next to the villa.

Sutivan is located 7km west from main town of the island, Supetar, it is easy accessible by car and daily connected by bus.

Getting to Brac: Take the car ferry from Split harbour. Split harbour is 20 kilometres from Split airport. The crossing takes about 50 minutes.

You can book your ferry tickets on the ferry line website or buy them at the ticket office on arrival.
If you book online you have to enter a ferry time but the tickets are valid for any ferry on the day. For Supetar you can't book a place for your car on a specific ferry.

The cost of a one-way ferry ticket for a car up to 5m in length is 26,10 Euros. Adult tickets are 6,50 Euros, children between 3-12 years old pay 3,20 Euros. Children under 3 years old travel for free.

Good find

Perfect set up for two families - 8 people in total. There are two separate apartments which gave us some privacy but all got together in the ground floor apartment for drinks and meals etc with the large outside table easily seating 8. Accommodation was spotless and had great views. Pool was perfect. Our only criticism was that at peak times, the water pressure was low/non existent on the top floor due to the infrastructure of the area. The house is up a steep hill so need to be aware of that for those less fit.

Wonderful villa for a large family or a 2-family group

This is a beautiful villa - perfect for two families vacationing together. Plenty of Soave, gorgeous views, very clean and well appointed. The pool and the lounging area around the pool are wonderful. The location may not work for everyone because the villa is located on a quiet street up quite a steep hill. Getting to the beach or the center of Sutivan is no problem, getting back to the beach may pose an issue for some. We quite liked the challenge though. :)) I would be very comfortable recommending this villa to my friends.

Ein schönes Haus in welchem sich zwei jeweils, mit zweckmĂ€ĂŸig gerĂ€umigen Möbeln, allen notwendigen ElektrogerĂ€ten (Herd/Ofen/SpĂŒlmaschine/Waschmaschine/Wasserkocher/Föhn/BĂŒgeleisen), plus separat steuerbarer Klimanalagen und geschmackvollen Accessoirs eingerichtete Wohneinheiten, mit Balkon/Terrasse und eigenem Pool im uneinsehbaren von OlivenbĂ€umen umsĂ€umten Hof befinden. Villa Maria liegt sehr ruhig, am oberen Rand der Appartmentbebauung Sutivans. Das Farbspiel von gebrochenen Weiss des Steins, ĂŒber das GrĂŒn der BĂ€ume, bis zum Ultramin der Adria, zwischen der Dalmatinischen KĂŒste und der Insel Brac, heisst einem von Anfang an willkommen und lies uns schnell ein GefĂŒhl von zuHause sein empfinden. Vom Balkon aus lĂ€sst sich wunderbar der Sonnenaufgang hinter dem zwischen Split und Omis gelegenen Mosor-Gebirge genießen. Die 250m lange Strasse zum Meer, welche durchaus etwas steil ist, hielt uns an keinem Tag ab, zu den schönen StrĂ€nden oder in das touristisch angenehm erschlossene Fischerdorf Sutivan zu spazieren. Die fĂŒr die GrĂ¶ĂŸe des Ortes zahlreichen Restaurants, eröffnen einem ein ausgewogen vielfĂ€ltiges Angebot an leckeren regionalen Gerichten fĂŒr fast jeden Geschmack und GetrĂ€nken vom wĂŒrzigen Pivo bis zum Genuss eines Stina - Plavac Mali Majstor. Wir konnten jeden Tag zusĂ€tzlich den sauberen, gut temperierten Pool zur Erfrischung und schwimmen kleiner Bahnen nutzen. Alles in Allem 2 wunderschöne Wochen, die nach Wiederholung rufen.

Urlaub Sutivan

Es war insgesamt ein schöner Urlaub. Nur die Entfernung zum Strad und Sauberkeit hat uns nicht so zufrieden gemacht. Der steile Berg hoch vom Strand na Hause war sehr anstrengend. Der Strand war sehr schön das Wasser einmalig.
