The place in summer needs an AC. WiFi was patchy at best. For the money I paid per night there are better options. The plumbing was slow, the bathroom small, apart from toilet paper nothing else provided. The wall paper, the flooring, the couch the towels, the plug points and every bit of decor looked there were bought at a swap meet or were from the late 1900s. Do not fall for the pictures of the outside , insist on inside pictures. Kitchen was clean.I left the place in 2 days instead of 7 after spending most of my time sending pictures to the credit card company , the host and VRBO.

This uneducated guest does not understand that Maui being an island conserves water. The plumbing in our unit has a different toilet than what he was use to. It requires low water and only toilet paper provided. His complaints are only a money grab to get more for less. In 35 years of renting ,we have repeat customers who care about our family condo. They don't come looking for trouble.As this one did. When help was offered he refused to wait. Our Kitchen is above standard and well designed with new microwave and dishwasher. Wifi is not like on the mainland. You are 3000 miles in the middle of the pacific ocean. Too bad he never realized the beach was calling.

Great Little Place

Nice condo near everything. Close to the pool and the ocean. Shopping and golf nearby but still a quiet retreat.

The location is excellent, the beach is wonderful, the property is beautifully maintained, and the heated pool is a great advantage.The owner is very friendly and responsive, but unfortunately, this did not help resolve the issues we reported.Kitchen: One cabinet door was broken and hanging on one hinge. We had to rewash the dishes because of greasy residue. The nonstick frying pan and two pots were badly damaged and unusable.Bedroom: There was a dead lizard stuck to the window. The large mirrored closet door was not functional and hung on one hinge.Bathroom: The shower was not properly cleaned. The towels smelled strongly of toilet bleach/disinfectant rather than fresh laundry detergent.When we reported the issues, we were told a housekeeper would bring a new frying pan, but she never came. A repair person was also scheduled to come during our stay, but did not. The owner later said the repair person would come the following week, but no one came and nothing was repaired.We also had to wait about an hour beyond the agreed check-in time. Check-in is late in the afternoon and check-out is in the morning.The location and amenities are excellent, but the apartment’s cleanliness, condition, and unresolved issues significantly affected our stay.By the way, two inflatable floats were stolen from the backyard.

Fantastic Maui Experience

We loved our stay! The location of the condo complex in Kihei is great. Close to groceries, good restaurants, gas for rental car, etc. The location of the Condo within the complex is excellent. The lanai is directly across from the pool entry, and just steps from the beach! We loved it. Our two girls stayed on the pull-out couch and we still had plenty of room in the kitchen and living area to get around and make the most of the condo. Would definitely look to stay here again if (when?) we're back in Maui.

Beach Side - Waiohuli Hale

We were able to spend a wonderful Christmas vacation in Kihei at a great price. Our property manager Denise was awesome! She kept us well informed throughout the process and even added some Christmas decor to brighten our holiday vacation. The kitchen had everything you needed to enjoy a home cook meal, and there were plenty of gear to use for a beach visit. You are literally right next to the pool. Which is very nice when its time to get another refreshment, or if you forgot something. The complex is located in a very convenient spot on the island. Overall, just a wonderful time in Paradise.
