About this property

Newly renovated, rural country cottage – sleeps 4

Our home is a 3 bed semi-detached light-filled cottage down a beautiful, rural country lane in the Surrey area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We wake up to the sound of horses and roosters and have the most gorgeous country walks right on our doorstep.

15 minutes walk to a quaint country pub and lots to see and do in the area. 12 minutes walk to the train station for direct link to London Waterloo.

We have a large, private garden with 2 outdoor seating areas; one on the patio outside the kitchen, and one at the top of the garden next to the hot tub.

Beautiful countryside location. Great communication and helpful local information. Relaxing stay.

We had a lovely stay, and really enjoyed the proximity to the woodland, literally on the doorstep. The garden is fantastic. Our boys loved the swingball and we all enjoyed the hot tub. We relaxed in the evenings in the seating area at the bottom of the garden, and were very lucky with the weather.

We are a family of 4. I'm a graphic designer and love running in the woods, eating good food and listening to the owls at night. I love entertaining and also just chilling at home.

Nir is addicted to mountain biking and has just completed the Lochness Challenge.

Our teenagers LOVE living rurally, but also enjoy having access to the city via a short walk through the woods to the train station.

Why they chose this property

We have always wanted to live in the countryside, down a country lane. So when we found Owl Cottage we knew it was meant for us. We lived in it for 5 years before doing the big renovation and are thrilled with the result.
