Would love to rate this property but unfortunately on arrival found it to be occupied so only got to see the front door.
With no response from VRBO and being stood in the rain after a hard day's work I managed to contact the owner who was really annoyed we were able to book this property as he had requested it removed from the listing he immediately managed to sort us alternative accommodation for that night and actually the remainder of our two weeks but unfortunately this ment some of our group having to stay in separate appartments and change mid way through the stay, after emails and attempts to phone VRBO throughout our stay and no response I'd recommended not bothering with this booking company and take your money elsewhere.
We cant rate the stay as there was a mix up with our booking and was in fact double booked. We got to our accommodation to find it already occupied. We had emailed the owner prior to our arrival but had no reply but our email from vrbo lead us to believe all was in order. We did manage to get in touch with the owner Phil thanks to the other occupants who took responsibility for the mix up and quickly organised alternative accommodation in the local area. I do feel Vrbo need to look at their booking systems as it was clear rhey toook the booking and payment but cimmunication lines with the actual owner of the property failed. We could have had a wasted 3hr trip and with a 3 yr old would have been a stressful situation.
We did have a lovely week away though in the end.
I have had to rate some categories as 1 star in some cases a N/A option would have been better seeing as we didnt actually stay there.
