Tricia's cabin is extremely rustic (in a good way) and charming, and the view one wakes up to every day is gorgeous and deeply relaxing. The property is nicely protected from neighbors, and the sense of peace and serenity there is truly wonderful. The full kitchen and washer/dryer makes it possible to happily hunker down there, but its proximity to the charming mountain town of Sylva and great hiking mean one doesn't have to go far for food and other diversions. We very much enjoyed our stay. Trisha was a great host, and thoughtfully provided coffee and other treats to welcome us.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Trisha was super responsive before, during and after check-in. The cabin is gorgeous and the views are spectacular. We hiked and enjoyed the quaint towns of Sylva and Dillsboro. We would definitely loved to come and stay again!

Cozy Retreat

Oct 2019 Stay at Lazy Bear Lodge

Very enjoyable stay. Location was good and cabin decor very cute. Place was very clean and kitchen well stocked for the home cook. Fire pit and hot tub were a bonus. Would definitely stay there again!

The cabin exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, well maintained and accurately described. We have some familiarity with Western NC, but not with Sylva. We were pleasantly surprised with the downtown area and were able to have several great meals and some good beers. The hosts are easy to work with and their attention to detail sets them apart from your average VRBO hosts.

Wonderful place!

The pictures only give you a sample of this wonderful cabin secluded on the hillside. All the amenities you would need and close enough to enjoy local activities or just stay at the cabin and enjoy the quietness.

Great views of the mountains.

The cabinet was clean and the views were excellent. Great location to explore the small towns and short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smokey Mountain National Park.
