We enjoyed our week at this spacious rental. The view alone was a big hit second only to the large deck to see it from. We had everything we needed to be comfortable — laundry room, large showers, essentials, microwave, grill — and more, much more than expected. The second refrigerator was a bonus in preparing our daily meals. We spent every day playing games, taking pictures, enjoying the beautiful weather on the deck and spreading out to each end of the house when we wanted privacy. (There were 10 adults). The host was very responsive in any communications.

It had a beautiful view of the river but no access to it. The home was clean and well stocked. The only other suggestion is that there are steps down in two of the rooms with no railings at all. Kids and seniors run the risk of falling which was concerning because I went with several 80 year olds, two of whom had canes and found it difficult to get down and up the stepsOther than that the house was nice. It would have been nice to have river access which was the major reason we choose the property

Amazing House, Beautiful View

Whistlers River House is amazing. The view of the river is spectacular and being able to hear the river was a huge surprise. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with quality cookware and utensils. We saw deer, wild turkeys, and a bald eagle from the back deck. Truly a beautiful place to stay.

What a wonderful place!

We were blessed to find such a beautiful place for our extra large family to spend Christmas. The house and amenities and grounds (and view!) exceeded our expectations. The host(s) and owner were so kind and helpful and we hope to someday stay again. Would highly recommend and give 20 stars out of 10.
