Very pleasant stay at Stable cottage, which was comfortable, clean, quiet and had all we needed.

Very pleasant stay at Stable cottage, which was comfortable, clean, quiet and had all we needed. There is not much in the village (pub and 1 shop) but we were fine with this - Wooler is 10 minutes drive and has a larger Co-op food store and other amenities. 20 minutes to Bamburgh, 30 minutes to Lindisfarne/Alnwick.A minor point to note is that the upstairs bedroom (housing the boiler cupboard) can be rather warm when the boiler is on, but a fan is provided and the windows open wide.
