We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa, just 10 km from Menton. The location was perfect and we absolutely loved the stunning sea view. The house itself is modern and very comfortable, and the swimming pool was a real highlight. It was the ideal place to relax and enjoy our holiday. We would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful home in isolated location

Stayed here as a party of four adults and two smalll children in early September. The home is luxurious, exceptionally clean and new. Spacious living and bedrooms. Outdoor living is pleasant but exposed to afternoon winds due to height of property on the hills. The view of the sea and surrounding hills is very pleasant. Be aware the pool is too cold to use if not in the high heat of summer. The beds were one queen and two doubles with lovely linen. Also a child's single trundler was supplied. The Beds were of good quality and had soft mattresses, tempur?? Style mattress. This was not to our taste but obviously may suit others.. The village is a reconstructed post war hillside village. However contrary to the information about Castillon on the internet there is no businesses or shops functioning daily. They have all closed bar Le Bergere which was only open for a drink on our first day as they were booked out for the evening meal. They never opened again for the remainder of the week. So the nearest store for milk, bread etc is Sospel which is a ten minute drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks Philippe.

Schönes Haus in den Bergen.

Wir waren Ende Juli bis Anfang August in dem schönen Haus, das ruhig in einer Stichstraße zwischen den Bergen lag. Der Swimmingpool wurde von uns jeden Tag mit Begeisterung genutzt. Bis auf einen Tag hatten wir wunderschönes sonniges Wetter. Das Haus war schön renoviert. Der Vermieter war sehr hilfsbereit. Der nächste Ort mit Bäcker und kleinen Läden war ungefähr 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt.
