This little hidden gem is ideally located for great days out or just spend your day on the beach, the choice is yours.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electric heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack and doggy extras. . Grounds with patio (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking!. Situated in the village of Sewerby in between Bridlington and Flamborough Head, The Old Forge Cottage is ideal for couples wanting a property that has lovely walks from your doorstep, great for those with a dog as you can walk along the clifftops down to Bridlington or go north to Danes Dyke nature reserve. The owners have restored the Old Forge making a fantastic tea room and this little cottage tucked around the corner, you wouldn’t know it was there. A great base to visit the east coast, the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Wolds.
Sewerby village is home to the wonderful Sewerby Hall, perched on the cliff tops in a spectacular setting and is open to the public. It boasts over 50 acres of well tendered gardens and walkways, a zoo and plenty of events held here throughout the year. Bridlington is the nearest large resort and that’s just a mile along the headland. Still a very busy working harbour as well a great resort with two large sandy beaches as well as lots of restaurants, bars and of course the Spa, home to many international acts who perform here. The resorts of Flamborough Head, Filey and Scarborough lie to the north and the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is just a short drive. The medieval city of York is an hour by car and is not to be missed. Voted every year as one of the top ten cities to visit with an abundance of museums, theatres, cafés and shops, and of course the open top tourist buses to show you around this wonderful city. Beach ¾ mile. Shop ½ mile, pub 150 yards and restaurant 150 yards.
