My daughter and I had a wonderful stay for our 8 days. The property had all the essentials and was located in a very handy neighborhood to access all the sites. A great little neighborhood to explore as well.
A very nice walk up in the middle of a great and friendly neighborhood. Lots of nice restaurants within a block or two. Easy assess to transportation, and easy walking to many great tourists sites. The bldg is a bit old, but the flat has been nicely modernized with most modern conveniences. Would highly recommend folks check it out.

Great London location
Property was a great location in London, close to most major attractions or if not a short subway ride away. Building was run down. London is not an inexpensive place to live, but we did find the rented apartment was expensive for what it had to offer and the condition it was in.

I am really sorry to read this. First, I apologise for the initial hiccup with your check-in but the building is not run down, nor is the flat. If there was something out of order, I would have appreciated being told during your stay so I could react immediately and remedy whatever didn’t work, not afterwards with a general criticism that leaves me none the wiser as to what problem you encountered and what I can do to remedy or improve it. Everything is regularly checked and maintained, furniture is recent and so is the kitchen, the only older piece is the built-in wardrobe which, however is still functional. The communal areas are not under my responsibility but are cleaned twice a week, and while the building isn’t new, as per pictures of the listing, I don’t think “run down” is an accurate or fair description. All pictures are recent and up to date as to the actual situation of both the flat and the building.
Claudia could not have been more helpful and kind. She solved problems for me. The apartment is well supplied and full of light. So very British. Located behind Waterloo station, handy to central London. A minute walk to a street market, restaurants and shops.
Flat - Very Comfortable. Plenty of cupboard space. Great View of London Eye. Heating is excellent! (Although the toilet is separate from bathroom, and there is no heating in there). Kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Location - Simply Amazing!! Walking distance for Tube, Bus, Tesco, Sainsbury. Many tourist attractions including London Eye are closeby. Host - Claudia is very easy and flexible. Check in process was very simple. She gave very clear instructions to guide us to the flat.

About the host

In addition to being a host, I am a keen traveller myself and put my experience as a guest to fruition making others feel at home in my property.
Why they chose this property
It was love at first sight. The view, the perfect size, being able to walk or cycle almost everywhere made me realise this was the place I was looking for for my own stays when in London, and then I decided to open it up to guests when I am not in town.
What makes this property unique
Steps from the Old Vic and picturesque Lower Marsh, easy walk to London Eye; Big Ben and Houses of Parliament, South Bank, the Strand and Trafalgar Square (all 10 minutes), Covent Garden (20 min) and much more. On the corner of Baylis Rd and Frazier St. Super well connected: Waterloo and Lambeth North tube stations, plenty of buses all around, and City Bike points near the building, not to mention that you can walk to most tourist attractions and save £££. You will have full access to the entire property: kitchen, sitting room, bedroom with large wardrobe, bathroom and separate toilet. Kitchen utensils, towels and bed linen are also provided. Although I won't be there in person during your stay, I am very active (and reactive) on line, which means I can make sure everything runs smoothly before and during your stay. I provide a house manual before arrival, detailed check-in instructions (including videos via my YouTube channel) and then more instructions inside the flat on many aspects, including how to correctly dispose of your waste. I think I provide all necessary amenities but am always listening to suggestions if there is something you think I could improve.
