The property is beautiful and very tastefully done.
The property is beautiful and very tastefully done. Its close to local amenities and lots to visit. Our only mention would be it needs some low level lighting, to sit of an evening with the lights on is too bright. It could also do with an extractor fan for the hob area and the bathroom. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back

This cottage is decorated and furnished to a very high standard.
This cottage is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It is perfect for a couples get away. The bathroom has a lovely deep bath and a huge powerful shower. The bed is king sized and very comfortable. It is out of the way so is lovely and quiet and the blinds/curtains shut out any light for a good nights sleep. It is well equipped with cooking utensils and upon arrival there was a lovely welcome package of some milk, tea/coffee and some very tasty biscuits. The fridge and freezer are great to have and have plenty of room to stock all your food. Although there isn't a "corner" shop close by, there is an Aldi and Sainbury's only a few minutes drive away. The cottage is also close to the "Cinder Track" which can be used to walk into Whitby one way (approx 45 mins depending how quick you walk) and Robin Hood's Bay the other way (approx 1 hour 20 mins). It is good under foot and you get some lovely views, plus away from the road. I highly recommend this property to stay in and if I'm visiting this area again will return.

Under floor heating is superb although we got lucky with the weather so only needed it on once
Lovely walk from the cottage into Whitby and your pretty much central to everything, we also went to Goathlands, Robin Hoods Bay and Falling Foss and they are within a short drive

I most relaxing break, would highly recommend this particular location, the only reason for a 9 on local amenities was lack of a local shop, no problem for us but any one without a car this could pose a problem.
