This romantic lovely Fishermans cottage is set on the Harbour and enjoys the sound of the waves lapping its toes.....the balcony is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or an evening apero. With beamed ceilings, log fires and a roll top bath. Master bedroom and further attic bedroom for a child.Galley kitchen. All rooms have stunning Harbour views. Central heating. Wifi. We've stayed many times at this little fishermans cottage, excellent location,small but very well laid out, and listening to the fishing boats leave on high tide, while snug Infront of the fire is peaceful.

Excellent location though not good for those with mobility struggles. We were already aware of the limited parking in Whitby town centre before booking and we were more than happy walking to and from the Abby car park. Beautiful property, great views, luxury bath very comfy bed. Great communication and instructions from the host. We would certainly stay again.

We had a fantastic four nights stay at the cottage, it was clean and everything we hoped for, the decorations and facilities were spot on and the central location was perfect for us. I would definitely return and recommend to family and friends

Stunning fishermans cottage overlooking the harbour..beautifully decorated and very romantic..perfectly located to all the fabulous shops and restaurants that Whitby has to offer..we loved sitting on the balcony and watching the fishing boats coming and going..looking forward to another relaxing stay.

Unique property. Lovely spot for a couple. Comfortable for 3rd older child that can mange steep stairs but need to be aware that they would have to access their room via the main double room and also share bathroom. This was not a problem for our family who loved the fisherman's cottage.Can't beat the view. Excellent location - lovely spot on the balcony to watch all the comings/goings of people and boats. Well equipped.

Fabulous week in Whitby at the Folly. You couldn’t get a better harbour location in Whitby, we sat on the balcony watching the boats and drinking wine all week! Cottage is very well equipped and clean with galley kitchen and beamed ceilings with nautical decor. Very comfy bed and good shower. Parking in Whitby is the only isssue we had, eventually found a spot, got a parking permit from the tourist information centre just over the bridge (around 60) and left the car there all week. Lots of places to eat out, shops, walks. steam trains, boat trips, ghost tours, Dracula and some great cocktail bars!

The property itself has to be in my perspective the best location in Whitby. When you open the door to the house you’re welcomed to a clean property that peels like home. Then when you walk through into the living room you’re greeted by two doors leading you to a fantastic seated balcony where you can sit and watch the world go by. Davina the property owner was very helpful and very polite. 10/10 can’t wait to come back soon!
