The house was clean. Each of our teenage kids had their own room and bathroom. Location in the river is great. Lots of nearby wildlife including deer and eagles.
The cabin was great and the owner was very friendly. We loved the river, the fire pit, and having two living areas inside to spread out. The porch is huge with plenty of seating for everyone.
My family and I were very impressed with the accommodations. The setting was spot on and very cozy. I would definitely recommend this home for rest and relaxation as well as some family fun.
I just wanted to say how absolutely beautiful the place was — we had a wonderful time! It was truly the perfect vacation spot for our family. The lightning bugs in the afternoon were magical — we’d never seen anything like that. The afternoon walk watching the deer play was amazing.
We love this place. Comfortable and cozy. Amazing porch and yard- great location- five minutes from central Valle Crucis and central location with easy access to Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk.
