36 Westminster Road · Bright & Spacious 2-Bed Home in York with Garden - Pass the Keys
Located down a quiet family residential street in the attractive neighbourhood of Bootham. Newly decorated in March 2021 - my light and spacious 2 bedroom house is situated just a short 15 minute walk into York city centre. Comes with the bonus of a small off road parking space, making it the ideal choice for your visit to York.
We support responsible travel within the current restrictions and therefore my property is available for booking where the purpose of your stay falls within the current guidelines set out by the local Government.
The property is professionally cleaned and the linen/ towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. We offer remote access with easy self check-in and 24/7 guest support should you need any assistance during your stay.
Ground Floor
A spacious open plan living dining area with double sofa and two matching armchairs. The kitchen includes use of a fridge freezer, oven, hob and washing machine. There is a kettle and toaster so you can have breakfast at home.
First Floor
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, both with double beds and generous storage facilities. The modern bathroom has a shower over the bath. This lovely house ensures complete comfort. And not forgetting the enclosed rear garden which is a must to be enjoyed on a sunny day!
If you are looking for a long term stay then my homely property will make the perfect base. I aim to be as accommodating as possible. A travel cot and mattress can be provided at an extra fee of £20 (please request in advance). A brand new fan has recently been added to the property too. Dogs and cats will be considered - please read 'Other things to note'.
Guests will have access to the entire house.
Other things to note
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.
TRAVEL COT
A travel cot and mattress can be borrowed at an additional cost of £20. Please ensure you message before hand so that I can arrange for the installation. Guests will need to bring their own cot bedding, including a bottom sheet. (I am afraid highchair requests cannot be met).
PETS
Pets are welcome for longer term lets on a case by case basis. An additional minimum fee of £30 will be requested to cover extra cleaning. Please message me in advance with the details of your pet.
PARKING
There is parking in the driveway for 1 medium/small car i.e. mini, ford fiesta or smaller vehicle. The street is permit parking so this restricts a second car or a larger vehicle, but there are other neighbouring streets where free parking can be found. Try Compton Street and the adjoining streets.
Important: We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.
