The property was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet private getaway. The owner was very helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend this property and will be booking again myself.
We thought that the property was roomy and pleasant, well maintained, and the personal touches made it feel inviting. It was close to the center of North Conway, but far enough away to not get caught up in the Rt 16 traffic. The large living room and dining area was perfect for the family to stretch out and enjoy each other, and the large dining table gave us room to eat as well as work on several jigsaw puzzles! The deck and furniture were lovely and gave us another spot to enjoy hanging out. The teenagers enjoyed the first floor deck and swing, as it was just outside their bedroom area. The narrow stairway between the two floors was tricky, but manageable, and our two elderly folks and small dog got the hang of it quickly.
Thank you for creating a comfy space for guests as well as yourselves!
My husband, two adult children and their partners and our border collie spent two nights here. The house is quaint and lovely, very clean with everything we needed in the kitchen. A hand written welcome note on the dining room table was a nice touch. The owners were very responsive to texts that I sent before we arrived. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.
We had a nice time at the house but it was very warm in the house even with all the fans going. Our dog struggled with the heat inside the home as well. We would stay again but not during the warm months. Beautiful home has everything you need. Great stay
We had a wonderful week at this mountain top retreat! It was in the 90s and very humid our entire week but there were ample fans. Two bedrooms are on the ground level which were cool all day, even in the immense heat.
We especially liked the kitchen, it had everything we needed. Unlike at home, the 3 adults could be in there preparing or cooking without being in each other’s way.
There was a gate on the top of the stairs, which was a nice added bonus as I was worried about one of my dogs falling down them. Another one was outside on the deck which was also a very nice addition.
My biggest disappointment was it was way too hot all week to enjoy the beautiful deck, but it looked like the perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail.
Communication with Julie was great and we would absolutely consider staying again next year.
We had a wonderful time at this property, we had our dog with us, there was so much to do and the house was packed with everything you would need. The weather was extremely muggy and hot, we had all fans going and did decide to leave a day early because our dog was having a hard time with the heat. Overall wonderful stay and would rent again.
We stayed for a week as a family of 6. 2 parents, 2 kids, and 2 grandparents. The house was a great size and very clean. It had everything we needed. Great location for hiking lots of different trails.
Great location ! Quiet and close to lots of fun attractions (storyland shopping waterfalls)
We had a wonderful time at this property! It was fully equipped with everything we needed for our week long adventure! Sheets ,blankets ,towels ,pots, pans, tin foil, books , games, movies ! Located on a dead end road it was a great quiet spot for us to relax on the deck and soak up the white mountain air !
Highly recommend this rental!
The Frerks’ house was the perfect home base for our White Mountains adventures this summer! The location is perfect, just minutes away from Storyland and everything there is to do around North Conway. The house itself is cozy and clean, and you can tell it has been well loved throughout the years. It was easy to find, and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was very well appointed, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. We particularly loved the large deck! What few questions we had were answered promptly by Julie. We appreciate the good communication! Thank you for a great stay!
The Frerks home is spacious with room for our large family and two dogs. All the furniture was very comfortable. Their DVD collection is pretty amazing. The kitchen is large and has everything you should possibly need. The neighborhood is pretty quiet. Lots of windows for nice mountain breezes and ceiling fans for hot days. The decks is spacious for eating outside. The fire pit was also fun to use. It was easy to communicate with the Frerks with any issues or questions I had. They were quick to respond. We'd love to stay there again sometime.

Fun home, key location close to EVERYTHING
This was my first time trying VRBO or any home away rental. The hosts have a lot of attention to detail and have lots of comforts for guests. Loved that they had various games at the house, ping pong was a fave for sure. Location of house is in a quiet area but literally minutes from everywhere you want to be. Loved the private deck and layout of the house. Plenty of room to spread out. Fully stocked kitchen was great, all of the cookware you could need, even a griddle for the morning pancakes which was great. This was our first home rental and so glad we did! Was great to have a washer and dryer to use as well, helped with keeping the laundry down for when we got home, lol!

Great place to stay for a trip with friends and family!
We had a great experience in the house! It was everything we were hoping for and more. We felt very comfortable in the home! The house has plenty of space for cooking, eating, playing games, and just lounging around! We really enjoyed the games that were available to play in the house. Sleeping arrangements were very comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets, sheets, pillows, and even heating pads on the beds for cold nights! The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and eating too, plus a dishwasher! There were towels available to use for showers, but don’t forget to bring your own wash cloths. We were also thankful that the bathrooms and kitchen already had toilet paper and paper towels ready to go. We are already looking forward to staying here again in the future!
