Dillon Beach is a quiet, safe, adorable coastal town. Dillon Beach Surf Cottage has all needed kitchen supplies and lovely ocean views. It is so convenient to the beach, which is perfect for a run or long walk. The one day we had light rain, we had a fun time driving into Petaluma for the Farmers' Market, lunch at Wild Goat, and strolling the town.
Wow! This house is perfect for two people! It has everything for a comfortable and convenient stay. The view of the waves and ocean is amazing. It’s close to the general store and restaurant plus walking distance to the beach. Inside it has a fully stocked kitchen with many condiments and spices. We strongly recommend this wonderful beach house enough!
This was such a nice place. Had so many little details that made it feel cozy, and even a few knick-knacks to let you know who the owners are. Place was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the little yard in front, and especially because it was very stormy that week and we have dogs. View was great, and the little store was right across the street. The beach was just a short walk, too.
Our host was more than amazing. The house was immaculate, extremely well equipped for any type of cooking you could want to do (we shucked fresh oysters and made linguine and clams). The deck has amazing views of the ocean, and the bed was super comfortable. The gas fireplace was such a vibe on the cold rainy nights, we were so comfortable the entire time. The hosts made our stay better than we could have imagined, all for my wife’s 31st birthday. Thanks so much, we’ve already booked our next stay here!
Our seventh year in a row in renting this little cottage. Perfect for the two of us and our dog. Great views, well appointed, attention to details. Best of all, you can listen to the ocean from bed all night long. My favorite. Highly recommend this little beach retreat.
Repeat visitor. Everything was great. Very homey and well equipped. Kind of stuffy in the bedroom. It would be nice if the windows opened a bit for fresh air and ocean sounds.

Yes, the bedroom window broke and had to be secured shut. We are working on replacing the entire window. Thanks for your input.
I love this place. It's my second visit within six months with my dog Lucky. It just has a great vibe and view! And I know Denys puts a lot of care into it. Location is great... you've got Pt. Reyes Station and Pt. Reyes National Park to your south and Bodega Bay to the north for day trips. I also enjoyed walking around the quaint beach neighborhood with hills and along the beach to the point this trip. Thanks Denys, I'll be back!
There is not a single thing I would change about this cozy cottage! The location was great, the kitchen was really well stocked, the furnishings were comfy and the owner Dennis was so welcoming and thoughtful.
Dillion beach is a hidden gem and pet friendly beach town to visit. This past visit marks our third stay at this amazing cottage. A perfect place with a beautiful view from its deck. Dennis is our point of contact and always
We loved staying at this place. The views were great all the accommodations were clean and comfortable. The extra details like a bottle of chilled white wine and hand written note made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be rebooking this cute little place.
I’ve worked in the vacation rental industry and I have to say this was one of the most thoughtful, well organized, stocked, clean places we’ve stayed. My dog was treated with a bowl of fresh water at the door, fallowed by treats inside. I was welcomed to a happy birthday banner, card and bottle of wine. It was very comfortable and charming. We borrowed beach chairs from friends but they had some there for us to use if we had needed. The lounge chairs on the back porch were super comfy to curl up with a good book or just enjoy the views and take in the sea air.
Beautiful little place. Our stay was so cozy and comfy. House was very clean and arranged beautifully. Hosts were super responsive and kind. Will definitely come back.
