Lovely Family Stay
Our stay was a family of 6 celebrating a special birthday. The house is a Town house over 3 floors. It's bright and modern, well equipped and has gorgeous views over Amble Harbour. The downstairs bedroom was mine and my husband's. The bed was comfy. The En-suite clean. There was no drawer space in this room so apart from hanging up clothes in the wardrobe,we lived out of our suit case. The kitchen is bright and modern and very well equipped. Upstairs is a bright modern lounge with plenty of comfy seating for us all to play board games and watch a film at night. On this floor is the main bathroom and a double room The top floor has the master bedroom with En-suite and a twin room. I haven't lived in a town house before so found the kitchen and lounge being on different floors odd. Our only gripe was that the walls are plaster board and not sound proofed and every single floor board and stair creaked and groaned. The house is just off the main town Rd and within walking distance of some fabulous restaurants, bars and pubs. Also within easy driving distance to the coastal attractions. Overall I would highly recommend this property
