Our stay was for three nights. The bungalow was a joy to stay in. Clean well equiped every room was top quality. Close to Anwick, Seahouses and ideal for wedding visitors to Newton Hall. Would love to stay again in the future
We really enjoyed our stay , had everything we needed And more , Great for dogs having fields out the back and a footpath to the pub , would highly recommended and would definitely return
Thank you
Beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for a lovely stay. Could not fault it in any respect, would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.
We came to visit family nearby and had a lovely few days - smooth check in, immaculate house on arrival - perfect location and all the information we needed.
Great cottage for our family group - had everything we needed - very well equipped, very clean and a lovely location. Good parking for several cars. Great communication before and during the holiday, so no complaints at all.Highly recommended.
An excellent location for visiting the main castles/gardens of the area. It was immaculately clean on our arrival. The host had provided everything that could be wanted.
The best place that we have stayed.
Very clean and beautifully maintained , lacked nothing it really was a home from home .
The pictures do not do if justice . Would definitely recommend the property to others and stay again
A lovely property, very well thought out and kitted out, there wasn’t anything missing from what is needed on a short break. Easy to access local places and beaches if driving (I didn’t bring my bike so can’t comment on that). Only advice is if eating out at fish restaurant nearby, make sure to book ( number and this advice is in house manual) food looks lovely but no seats when we went.
Very clean, well equipped and cosy .Whirlpool bath was definitely a hit. Outside space perfect for the dog , star gazing and seeing wildlife especially the deer. Excellent location for exploring the local area . Amazing food at the joiners arms which is only a 20 minute walk away and dog friendly. Will definitely return .
We were delighted with this property. It was spotlessly clean with a high standard of furnishings. Contact by the owner prior to arrival was very good and her thoughtfulness in providing a welcome pack of refreshments together with a wide range of family games, DVDs and beach games made for a special family break. The location gives good access to all local tourist spots by car but we did feel the mentioned walk to Newton Hall and the Joiner's Arms was unsafe for children due to no pavements which was slightly disappointing.
We have just had a wonderful 3 night break exploring the Northumberland coast. This property was ideally placed to travel around the area. The bedrooms were super comfy and clean. The kitchen and living areas had everything we could want. The drive had ample space for our 2 cars. It was cosy and warm and I especially enjoyed watching the sun go down across the fields and the coast line in the distance. The views were great and we weren’t over looked or disturbed at all. A truly relaxing and comfortable break. The information from the hosts before arriving was fantastic and a handy information pack was greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend staying here. We will when in the area again. Thank you
Excellent holiday home with everything you would love to have in your own home and more. Both adults and children were well catered for. Nice and warm, and very comfortable.
Great location to visit the surrounding area and further afield.
This property is spacious, is not overlooked and is a home from home. It's in an ideal location for exploring Northumberland and the whole family had a fantastic time.
Property was immaculately clean, with good quality furnishings and some nice touches from the host with tea / coffee etc in the property for arrival. Great location to explore Northumberland would highly recommend.
A beautiful house and top marks for cleanliness. The owners have thought of everything you might need, inside and out. Very comfortable and relaxing. home from home. We booked for a few days while attending a wedding at Newton Hall. Very highly recommended.
The house was light and spacious. Very well equipped. Secluded patio at the back with beautiful views. Bedrooms were lovely . Plenty of car parking. Only negative was the lack of footpath to the village so we had to drive there.
The house was so spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed the outdoor space. It was bright and clean and very comfortable. We would highly recommend. Helen was very nice to work with!
Very well equipped, very clean and light, pleasurable place to stay and most definitely stay here again. Very dog friendly and safe for them in the back garden. Good out look across the fields with Seahouses in the distance.
Absolutely spotless house, well equipped and lots of extras left for us and the dogs. We stayed for a wedding at Newton hall which is just down the road but would come again for walking in the area.
The cottage could not be faulted in anyway. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. In a good position for visiting Alnwick, Seahouses and even Holy Island. Highly recommended.
