Loved Le Chat Blanc

Le Chat Blanc is a wonderful place -fantastic for large family gatherings with an excellent pool and grounds. The hosts have thought of everything that you need and were extremely helpful and easy to contact. The property is very well equipped and has a huge range of games and activities for all ages - we loved it!

This is lovely accommodation for a large group holiday. There were 16 of us ranging in age from 4 to 93 and everyone loved the accommodation. The outdoor space at the pool and outdoor kitchen area are great and the games room was used a lot. It is quite remote (nothing in walking distance) but we loved that as a large group we did not have to worry about making noise and annoying the neighbours. Large supermarkets within 15 minute drive and the local bakery in the village did lovely pastries. My only recommendation would be more of the comfortable seating by the pool as in the evenings it was lovely to sit outside but unless you sat at the large table there was not anywhere for people to relax and chat but that would not put me off from booking this again. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the lounge and games room it would just have been nice to have more of this outside.

Beautiful place with plenty of room for our family group of 15 from 6 to 82 years old. The house is located in a lovely countryside with opportunities to spot wildlife (dears) around the lovely garden (a big well maintained park). We enjoyed the warm pool and the outdoor kitchen nearby where we had all our meals. The house is well equiped with evsrything you need for cooling, relaxing and the game area is great for some fun time playing together. Beautiful villages and markets are within 15-30mn drive from the house (Brantome, Aubeterre...) and also places to enjoy a river swimm. The whole family was delighted about our stay. Communication was smooth and easy with Beth before coming then Ian tje property manager while on site. Thank you so much we highly recommend this place.

Un superbe endroit pour "buller" à la campagne dans le calme: pas de voisins, une vue superbe et une maison des plus accueillantes. on se sent chez soi. Un petit havre de paix et les propriétaires sont absolument charmants et très réactifs. Nous y reviendrons avec très grand plaisir!!!

Impression très mitigée

Le terrain est très bien. Les intérieurs sont fidèles à l’annonce. Néanmoins les propriétaires et les gérants (pas les mêmes personnes, attention) sont très strictes. Une mauvaise expérience de location précédente les rends très méfiant. Nous avons dû payer une grosse caution sans négociations sur des points hallucinants. Enfin, à notre arrivée il n’y avait pas de gaz pour le barbecue, le remboursement a été effectué plusieurs semaines après suite à 10 relances. Les transats dehors sont tous cassés. Ainsi que le parasol avec support déjà cassé à notre arrivée, que l’on a dû payer. Je retiendrai la nécessité d’effectuer un état des lieux d’entrée et de sortie détaillé. Ça n’enlève en rien le charme de cette maison mais c’est dommage, ces frais supplémentaires ont gâché notre séjour.

Belle maison, ultra conviviale !

Nous avons loué la maison pour un week-end de 3 jours entre amis. La maison est très belle et dotée de beaucoup de charme. Tout à été fait pour que l on si sente bien, et qu l'on passe de beaux moments et ça a été le cas. Ping pong, piscine, foot, billard, apéro, barbucue... Les activités ne manquent pas, aussi bien en intérieur qu en exterieur. Un grand merci à Alex et Beth pour cet endroit et pour leur bienveillance dans chacun de nos echanges. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Thomas
