Quarryman’s Rest is a cosy home from home ideally situated for accessing either the mountains for walking or the Zip World in Bethesda, both of which are a 5 min stroll away! There’s a wealth of activities & amenities available within walking distance of the door. The house is ideally suited for couples, or 3 friends. It is pet friendly and Bethesda is a great spot for a relaxing getaway. The village is well equipped with a Tesco Express, cafes, pubs, range of take aways and Bangor is only 10 minutes down the road!

Last minute short break

We were thrilled with this little find. As the purpose of our trip was to use vouchers we had for Xmas to do Velocity Zip line we couldn't have been any closer. It had everything we needed for a comfortable two night stay.

Cozy and perfect

We loved our stay in this cozy cottage. Although it is small, it was perfect to sleep 3 people. The underfloor heating was a great after a long trek around the Welsh mountains. We would highly recommend this place if you are visiting the is area. Thank you!

Nice little cottage. Need to watch your head on the door frames! Crystal was very helpful & was quick to reply to any queries. Zip world just across the road approx 20 min walk away to reception area

A lovely little cottage.

Great little cottage. We went to Zip world so the location was amazing. Lots of lovely places nearby to explore with the dog. A good sized garden so she could go out for a little sniff before bed time.We did struggle to find anywhere decent to eat nearby so had to drive which was a worry as no dedicated parking ment we had to hope there was a space available when we got back. Crystal was absolutely lovely and replied to our messages very promptly. (We lost our key)We had a fabulous stay and I don’t doubt we will be back in the future. Would absolutely recommend. Sorry only took two photos of the cottage.

I cancelled this property within the time limit, but I heard nothing from the owner. They charged me anyway. When I communicated through Vrbo that I cancelled on June 17, the day before the cut off, they blew me off and never responded. They charged me anyway and have never responded to any of my attempts to contact them.

Slate miners cottage!

Quaint & small but very clean. Low ceiling in bathroom needed to stoop down. Enjoyed our two night stay. Ideal location for the zip wire & other areas for site seeing & walking

North Wales experience

The cottage was lovely , there could have been a wellcome pack , instead there was a empty hand soap left and empty bottle of fairy liquid left ! Also there was one teaspoon and the rest plastic which wasn’t good , a lot of mould on the tile grout in the bathroom , I just felt it was put together with not much thought ! But the beds were compfy clean bedding !!
