Very clean and spacious property in an ideal situation, located just off the high street and town square. Graham was the ideal host he even managed to arrange some good weather for us! We would recommend Sadlers Cottage and Chagford as a great place to stay.
Excellent Property, very spacious, beautifully decorated, with everything that we needed for all age groups. Perfect location, right in the centre of Chagford square. Would definitely visit again.

Hi Kate thank you for your review and I hope you had a good trip home.
Kind regards Graham
My family and I have had a wonderful week here on Dartmoor staying at this superb property. It was very clean, very well equipped and the owner was extremely helpful and accessible. We would recommend this highly
Thank you for your hospitality! You were very accommodating and truly the best hosts. In addition, the meals at the Globe Inn were absolutely delicious!
Lovely house in the very centre of Chagford. It is tucked away behind the main street with a small courtyard garden. Nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and well fitted out kitchen, perfect for our family.
Spacious property, well equipped. Loved Chagford. Very nice shops. Great pubs with food. Lovely friendly people. We attended a wedding at Higher Eggbeer Farm and this was a great location for us.
Thank you.
The property is well equipped with kitchen utensils, games, towels, cleaning stuff. It is just behind the square so you are within a five minute walk of everything in Chagford. Visit to Castle Drogo and walk down to Fingle Bridge is not to be missed. Would return someday.

Thank you for looking after the house and we hope to maybe see you again in the future.
kind regards Graham
We were greeted by Graham at our arrival. He walked us to the parking space in the backyard and give us a tour of the cottage. The cottage has lots of space with four bedrooms & living room plus bathroom upstairs and two lounges at ground floor, including addition bathroom. We enjojed our stay in Chagford as we were only steps away.
Good - advertised as two bathrooms but second was very small. Needs a tumble dryer as couldn’t get washing dry. Apart from those two grumbles lovely property
We booked our 3 night stay with ease and we picked up the key from Graham's hotel. He walked us round to the property and showed us around. It was absolutely spot on for a family get away and had everything we needed. It was like a home from home and our children loved their bedrooms.
The welcome pack was much appreciated, especially the bottle of wine!
Everything was very clean and we couldn't believe how spacious it was. The village is lovely and the park and local pool were great for the children. We didn't want to leave and wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay again and the property & host were perfect.

Lovely family who left the cottage spotless. Hope to see you again
Nicely decorated cosy cottage. We found it well suited for our stay. As previous people said we did not use downstairs or little garden as weather did not permit and upstairs was sufficient for our needs. Two things 1. a blackout curtain needed in 2nd bedroom I didnt mind the pub noise but they forgot to turn out the garden lights one night & 2. the beds 2/4 were too soft for me - hence the 4*. A proper mattress topper would go a long way not a piece of foam. Would I go again, yes, if they fixed the above.
Fabulous cottage in the heart of a wonderful small town
Very pleased at the size of this lovely cottage, ample space for us all and having more than one living area was a real bonus. Comfy beds, great pillows. Well equipped kitchen. Chagford has 4 pubs/restaurants so plenty of choice to eat out and some lovely local shops. Do not overlook the hardware store, a tardis of interesting things. Mary and Graham the owners of the cottage were lovely and helpful with good pre arrival communication. A perfect place for a family meet up.
My wife and I were spoilt for choice in this large, comfortable house. Three sitting rooms! Very quiet and convenient to everything. Graham and Mary, who also are the landlords of the Globe, run both a great rental and a great pub.

Fabulous location for walking and exploring Dartmoor. Choice of pubs on the doorstep plus convenience store.
The property was very spacious and well equipped, we had everything we needed.
Would definitely go back again!
Thank you Graham!
What a great location. I had never been to chagford before, but would certainly like to visit again. The house was perfect for us. We loved the artwork 😊. There was plenty of space with great kitchen and bathroom facilities. All rooms, bedding and towels were clean and fresh. The welcome pack is a nice touch.
We were pleasantly surprised that most rooms were upstairs; 3 down and 7 up! Spacious house and very central. Apart from hiding the glassware downstairs for safety (plenty of cupboard space) the children had great fun playing...especially softball sprouts in the long hall above. Great holiday and thank you so much from all of us.
Clean, homely & a great location for walking in Dartmoor.
Very spacious and tidy house for a family of four. It is also a great location for exploring Dartmoor National Park. It was cosy and nice to come back to a fully kitted out house after a hard day of walking in the moors. The house is well positioned within the village to all the necessary amenities and all 4 village pubs! Check in and check out was painless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
