Large hot tub on large deck, close to golf courses, state parks, and wineries!

This beautiful, five bedroom, four bath chalet is ideal for any family reunion or celebration. Located on a 2.6 acre wooded lot only a short drive from both Hidden Valley (.5 miles) and Seven Springs (3.3 miles) resorts. Privacy, peace and quiet await you, while all the fun is still close by!

We now offer 2 full refrigerators (one in the kitchen, one in the heated garage) for plenty of food storage space! There's also enough room for up to eight cars in the driveway!

Check in time is 4:00pm and check out time is 11:00am. Early check in and late check out are offered for an additional fee if available.

We do not offer land-line telephone service in the house. Dogs welcome for a fee with approval from owner..NO CATS PERMITTED!

Overall this is a great rental for your family and friends to gather. Wonderful dexk and outdoor firepit. We had some water issues during our stay but Beth was on top ofnit and communicated consistently and got it fixed the same day. I would recommend this place for your next stay.

Fun trip

This was my second visit following last year, and it was a truly enjoyable trip thanks to Beth, who consistently updates and maintains the appliances and kitchenware. I was especially impressed by the well-organized snow removal during snowfall. Beth was kind, responded immediately to any questions, and continuously improved the place based on various feedback, which left me highly satisfied. Highly recommend.

Family Ski Vacation

We had a wonderful time. Ski conditions were excellent. The house was very comfortable for our family of 14. It was isolated but accessible. The house was clean when we arrived and the linens were just as promised. Two refrigerators were available so we had no issue with the food we had brought for our 4 night stay. The sliding glass door off the dining area was a challenge. One of the beds in the downstairs bedroom would only support the weight of a small child and the shower curtain in the downstairs bathroom was extremely long. However, we worked around these issues and really enjoyed the ping pong table, the large dining table and the well pointed and clean kitchen. The configuration of beds and rooms made it easy to accommodate our group. We would consider renting this house again, but might first look for something a little closer to the Seven Springs Resort.

We greatly enjoyed this cozy, open house. Beds and pillows were comfortable and we had plenty of everything. Location was convenient to skiing, but those of us who hung out at the house enjoyed ourselves too. The host was friendly and responsive and the property was clean.

Perfect Gathering Spot

We stayed here for a winter getaway with friends and family, and it turned out to be the perfect spot. The house has everything you need like a stocked kitchen, linens and cleaning supplies. Beth is a super communicator and answered every question we had before and during our trip. Very Cozy!

We had a wonderful night! Who knew there would be a foot of snow in November? The house was decorated for Christmas and was perfect for our group of 11 girls! Between the ski resorts, lake, and hiking trails, there looked like a lot to do all year round in that area!

Great private house for families

Our family had a wonderful stay here to celebrate Thanksgiving together in the mountains! Beth is an excellent host. We really enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement and the outdoor hot tub!

Welcome to Bear Cove! My family bought the house in 2004. We have enjoyed it for years, as there is so much around the area to enjoy! White water rafting is one of our favorites at Ohiopyle....my recommendation is take a guide with you in your raft. They know how to navigate the rapids!
Another favorite is Falling Water. Plenty of hiking, and then you can walk under the waterfall or f you're brave, slide down the rock slide into the water!!
