Little Waddon Vineyard has a no pet or children policy
We are a working vineyard set amongst neighbouring farmland.
You'll be staying on Little Waddon Vineyard which is a boutique little vineyard sitting on a gentle south facing slope, with views of the sea beyond Chesil beach. This is the Jurassic Coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's located in the same valley as Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical Gardens so benefits from this unique micro climate. On a lovely summer's day it could easily be the South of France!
Little Waddon Vineyard has a beautifully wild quality about it, surrounded by native tree species and abundant wildlife
Watch the pheasants feeding on the land and slowly going up to roost in the evening, the air bat display at The Hide at dusk, the woodpeckers swooping through the vines, the amazing swallows feeding off the insects above the vines in the summer and our resident owl calling in the evenings all year round!
This fantastic growing habitat (terroir) is a loam soil on Kimmerage clay over chalk, which provides a wonderful environment for the vines to thrive. In short it’s perfectly suited for growing organic grapes with Bio Dynamic principles and practices

Loveley place and hosts, hidden away - very private and quiet for a relaxing weekend. Great location for exploring and wonderful to come back to a hot tub!

Amazing 3 day break in this beautiful location. The attention to detail by the owners is outstanding. ! The photos do not do this place justice. It is so beautiful you will not want to leave. Such a great location. You can do as little or as much as you want. So many wonderful places to visit nearby. However we enjoyed relaxing by the log burner or making use of the wood fired hotttub and just relaxing the most. This place is a gem and the owners are always on hand if you need anything and put some lovely personal touches into the hide. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much !

You were perfect guests :)
It was lovely to meet you both and please do come back when you can as you'll always be very welcome! Karen & Simon
Gorgeous little hideaway, super cosy and beautifullly located. Everything you need to be nice and comfy, with a few little treats along the way. Thank you!
This is my fourth time staying here, and I keep coming back for many reasons. The place is so peaceful and tucked away in a quiet corner of the vineyard — perfect for unwinding. Simon and Karen are fantastic hosts: they totally respect your privacy but are always around if you need anything, and they're genuinely lovely to spend time with. The wines are great too! There’s plenty to see and do in the area, plus lots of good places to eat if you feel like dining out.I don’t know what else to say — I wouldn’t keep returning if it wasn’t this good!
This is the third time I've been to the Hide and it never fails to impress. The hosts are wonderful, the location is perfect for trips out, and the Hide, itself, is perfect for a quiet retreat. We tried the vineyard tour and tasting which we thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend.
Thanks to Karen and Simon. We'd come back tomorrow if we could!
We had an amazing relaxing 3 night stay here but now wish it was for longer. The Hide was immaculate with everything we needed and so much more. The owners have done a great job to offer something unique, relaxing yet top quality and made us feel very welcome.
We're so glad we found this property.
The property is charming and has beautiful scenery to enjoy a coffee in the morning, or a glass of wine at night. The drive to the beach is only 15 minutes away with some beautiful walks nearby with parking available, also not far from the property. The management of the property was fantastic, clean and cosy, with the hosts available to help at any time we needed them and were very friendly. We would also recommend the wine tour and tasting around the vineyard. We can't wait to come visit again!
Karen was a very helpful hostess from the point of booking well before our visit, with lots of local info to help us plan our stay. On arrival we were given a quick tour of the area with all of the info needed to get the hottub up and running.
The location is wonderful, one of the most private places we have ever stayed (in England). The bed comfortable, the bathroom was the nicest we've had on a glamping trip, the hottub easy to use even though wood fueled, and the living area and kitchenette tidy and functional.
Thank you for a truely great weekend away and all of your help.
Beautiful hide away for a peaceful and relaxing break away with my husband. Being back to basics but with a chec feel was perfect. Everything was beautifully presented and enabled us to have a romatic break with true quality time together.
Would definitely recommend using the hot tub for peaceful evenings and the fire pit for rustic, tasty meals.
The hosts were happy to help when asked but otherwise left us to enjoy the escapism. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for an escape from the everday stresses of life or for a romatic break away.
The Hide is one of the most picturesque, private and intimate locations I have ever seen. Karen & Simon’s attention to detail is clear throughout the hide from their modern yet charming decor to their wonderful customer service. They ensured our stay was perfect and nothing was too much trouble for them. We also had the opportunity to go on their wine tour. Where they again, went above and beyond to make our honeymoon extra special with little personal touches. Thank you Karen and Simon for making our time at The Hide so special for us. You both truly deserve every success and happiness. We can’t wait to stay with you again! Kind regards, Miles & Becky
Amazing vineyard views, the hide is done out beautifully with all the pots and pans you need for indoor or outdoor hob or bbq cooking so you need to bring nothing. Wood burners in each room and a fire pit outside for cooking/ marshmallow toasting makes it so cozy! Hot tub is so much fun to heat with the wood burner and so relaxing to look over the vineyard sat with a glass of vino. Completely isolated and so peaceful. hosts are so friendly and helpful. We booked the vineyard tour and cheese and wine tasting whilst there and it was gorgeous, so much food! 10/10 would recommend for a chilled out getaway. Within driving distance to so many beautiful places. Honestly think this is the best glamping style accommodation we’ve ever stayed in, feels so luxury with little touches like dressing gowns and lovely smellies! Couldn’t have been better, thanks guys x

We had a lovely stay at the Hide. Karen and Simon were wonderful hosts and really took time to show us around and get to know the place. We loved how private and secluded it felt. We really enjoyed spending time in the hot tub, and there's plenty to see, do and eat nearby. We'd love to visit again in the future!
Without doubt the most romantic and peaceful break possible! Fantastic area with lots to do and wonderful hosts would highly recommend the wine tasting. Lovely stay all round!
Second time I’ve stayed here and I didn’t regret coming back. I needed a chilled time and got one.
Hosts are super friendly and keep to themselves unless you need them.
Good wine too 🍷
Thanks for another great stay.
