The Islander Resort Unit 607 is located on secluded Holiday Isle in Destin, Florida along the beautiful Emerald Coast. This beach front, east-side, Platinum graded, vacation condo rental accommodates up to 6 people with a king in the master bedroom, queen in the guest bedroom, and a premium mattress sleeper sofa in the living room. Destin's sugar-white sand beach and emerald waters are just steps away and can also be enjoyed with a direct and panoramic view of the beach and Gulf from your private balcony.

Unit 607 is completely renovated with unobstructed beach/water views, new furniture in both bedrooms, dining room, and living room including a leather Lazy Boy recliner. Other updates include: keyless entry, relocated refrigerator to improve sightlines (not many units offer this), quartz countertops throughout, stainless steel appliances, Keurig coffee maker, ceiling fans, large flat screen TVs in every room, smart TV in living room, vinyl plank flooring and mirrored sliding closet doors in both bedrooms, new glass shower doors, new sliding glass balcony door leading to panoramic views, and an oversized walk-in shower in the master bath.

Amenities include:
-FREE tickets to top local attractions, including Big Kahuna’s Waterpark, Sea Blaster Dolphin Cruise, deep sea fishing, Cruisin’ Tikis, and several premier golf courses.
- 2 large swimming pools (east pool heated in the winter) and 2 hot tubs
- 2 beach chairs and 1 beach umbrella per day included at no extra cost (March 1st through October 31st). Additional sets are available for a fee.
- Paddleboards and kayaks available for rental
- Large, covered grilling area with tables and chairs
- Tennis, pickleball, basketball, and shuffleboard on site
- Commercial grade, coin operated laundry facility on site
- Exercise room on site
- Initial supply of paper towels, toiletry, trash bags and soaps

My only complaint is the elevator was always out of order and elevator rides were rough. I would take the stairs but my knees do not allow that. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

This is our second stay. there have been improvements in the Islander . the condo was great the is extraordinary. the dolphins swam by every morning for Coffee time on the balcony.

The only thing we missed was having a washer & dryer in the unit. It's nice to be able to wash you towels after a day at the beach. Also, having to walk to the other end of the other building to dump our trash was a bit of a pain. Hopefully they will have that issue resolved soon.

It is a 5 minute walk from the lobby to the sand!! Decor in the condo very very nice, comfort color throughout, super clean. The pictures are very accurate. When you open the front door, it's like stepping into the ocean. Staff very friendly and helpful. I have already referred few of my friends. Already have started planning our next visit!!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We opted for an ocean view u it and we were not disappointed. Beautiful decor and comfortable beds. My only concern were the floors. Although they were swept, they were not mopped efficiently. We don’t wear shoes in any home so this was an issue and there were not cleaning supplies to do it myself. The unit itself came equipped with all necessary items and we enjoyed our first stay here. I will admit, it’s quite expensive to rent any unit here but having the means to “your own home” is a plus for a week!!!

Paradise Experience

Unit 607 was beyond perfect and made it even tougher packing our bags up the morning of departure. From the cozy, beach decoration to the full kitchen, this unit felt like the perfect dream home. We have family not far from here and close to the beach but there is nothing like actually staying on the beach where you can see and hear the waves as well as feel the breeze 24/7. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. The entire complex was clean and welcoming. Having beach toys for the kids in the room and the facility to use was a big plus and saved plenty of room in the car. The property location is perfect as you don’t have to sit in traffic on 98 to get here. We will definitely book another trip soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pricing has gotten really high. Families with 10 - 14 year olds were allowing their kids to throw balls/footballs in the pool with no concern for others who were also trying to enjoy their vacation. Three times the ball hit me right in the face (i wear prescription sunglasses to make matters worse!) We were not the only people complaining. There are just too many people enjoying a community pool for kids to be allowed to throw balls. It's not safe. They can take their balls and have a toss on the grassy areas around. With all the rules that are listed for the pool, this should certainly be one that is important. Second issue, while we realize that maintenance has to be done and certainly don't mind that, men were in the windows early in the morning, dangerous razor blades were on the ground in front of our entrance, we were blocked from getting to the elevator. Perhaps a little extra care could be taken while doing construction.
