Located on the non-driving portion of New Smyrna Beach, this totally updated and beautifully decorated two-bedroom, two bath property comfortably sleeps six. One of the unique amenities about Southwind is that the pool is to the side of the building and on the beach. Southwind 503's balcony has a direct view of the ocean and the pool is in the sun the entire day. Spend your days soaking up the breathtaking Atlantic Ocean scenery from your beachside home away fom home.

Upon entering the open and inviting living space you will immediately see the breathtaking ocean views from the sliding glass doors right off the living room and onto the private balcony. This will be one of your favorite places to watch a sunrise, take an afternoon snooze or enjoy a relaxing cocktail after a fun day at the beach. In the living room you will find plenty of comfortable seating to take in the ocean views. Watch your favorite movies, sports and shows on Cable and streaming services on your Netflix, Amazon, Hulu accounts on any one of the 3 TVs.

The dining room is conveniently located right off the living space and close to the kitchen, making it easy to serve meals or entertain. The round wooden table has seating for five, and two additional stools can be found tucked under the longer kitchen counter. The open and well-equipped kitchen has every appliance or essential needed to cook your favorite meals.

Ready to retire? The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed, large dresser, night stand and flat-screen TV. But, the best feature to this well-appointed room is the amazing ocean views from the comfort of your bed. The updated master bath has tile flooring, walk-in shower with glass slider, and large vanity with storage space.

The second bedroom has two queen size beds and is beautifully decorated with white furniture and plush bedding. A flat-screen TV sits on a large dresser and is equipped with cable so you can catch up on your favorite shows while on vacation. The guest bathroom is in close proximity and has a standard size bath tub with shower, white vanity and bench, along with a large mirror.

The condo is equipped with plenty of linens, towels, beach chairs, a cooler, umbrella, pool noodles, boogie boards, and other beach amenities to enhance your stay.

Don't forget to bring:

While we provide an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags to get you through the first 24 hours, we recommend you bring the following: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, napkins, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, beach items, and anything else you may need for the perfect vacation.

Southwind, Tasteful New Smyrna Condo Rentals

The Southwind, known as "one of the best buildings on the beach," has recently undergone a $1 Million renovation. A state-of-the-art entry gate system has just been installed, making this one of only a few facilities on New Smyrna Beach with restricted, gated access. The oceanfront pool is seasonally heated and you'll find plenty of lounge chairs, both inside the gated pool deck and out on the beachfront sun deck as well. In addition, high speed wireless internet access is now available for all guests so you can stay connected to the outside world while listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean waves. Follow the sidewalk to the beach access stairs and take in the panoramic Atlantic Ocean view. This complex is also equipped with tennis, basketball and shuffleboard courts.

As a guest here, you'll have access to the complex's 11th floor penthouse recreation lounge which provides a great area for gatherings. The lounge has a kitchen, two billiard tables, card tables, and even a fireplace! From the roof deck, you can take in fantastic views of both the ocean and the Halifax River. You'll have the unique opportunity to view both sunrise and sunset over the water!

New Smyrna Beach Fun

The Southwind is located on the south end of New Smyrna Beach. Great fishing, boating, and canoeing opportunities abound at Mosquito Lagoon and JB's Fish Camp, located near this complex. Bethune Beach is just south of here, and the car free beaches in front of The Southwind provide the perfect landscape for family sandcastle building, quiet walks, or carefree bike rides on the sand.
