If you’re looking to explore vibrant Southsea, this studio is in a fantastic location with so much on your doorstep! If you’re a sucker for a coffee and a place to watch the world go by, there is an amazing coffee and cake shop - The Garage Lounge - just opposite, which we highly recommend. There are bars, restaurants, shops and even hairdressers all within a stone’s throw! You are also extremely close to the Kings Theatre and a short distance to the seafront or Gunwharf Quays.

This beautiful 1920s-inspired studio resides within a converted guesthouse in central Southsea. Within close proximity to Southsea seafront and with local shops within walking distance, this art deco studio is perfectly located. Finished with authentic art deco furnishings, this is a unique property not to be missed.
The studio gives guests ample space to relax and unwind, with a comfy double bed, 2 easy chairs and TV. The studio comes complete with a wardrobe, dressing table and dining table for eating or working. Perfect for 2 adults, or 2 adults and 1 child. The easy chairs click clack together to convert into a single bed.
When it’s time to dine, the kitchenette includes basic essentials for cooking up a storm, including a single electric hob, microwave, utensils, crockery and glassware - so all you need is to get some goodies in!
The adjoining en-suite modern bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. If you’ve got little ones staying with you, we can also provide a travel cot and/or highchair, but please advise in advance if these are required, so we can be sure they are available for your stay.
Most locations are walkable or taxis are plentiful and cheap. We also have Uber. There are frequent buses running nearby. The nearest train station is Fratton which is a 20 min walk. If you are driving - you will require visitor's permits, which can be purchased for £3 per vehicle, per day via our Digital Guidebook which is sent prior to your stay. Parking is hit and miss as Portsmouth is a little overcrowded with vehicles but you will find a space on the main road or in one of the nearby side roads.
Max occupancy 2 adults, 1 child.
A damage deposit is required pre-stay of £100, it is refunded 3 days after check-out. This is paid via Duve, our online check-in service.
Parking permits are required if you’re travelling by car and can be purchased via the Marketplace in the digital guidebook we send to you before your arrival. This is so you can park on-street during your stay. It is not for a personal parking space.
A travel cot and/or highchair can also be purchased in advance via the Marketplace in the guidebook and we will ensure they are there for your arrival.
Please be mindful of quiet hours between 11pm – 8am.
All of our properties are non-smoking (this includes the terrace) as the comfort of our guests is very important to us. If a property has been smoked in we will need to carry out a deep clean to remove the smell which will incur a minimum charge of £100.
There is no laundry facilities on site for guests but there is a laundrette just 5 mins walk away.
Please let us know in advance if you require bedding for the sofa bed.
PLEASE NOTE - IF BOOKING FOR 28 DAYS OR MORE A REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT OF £200 WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY TO THE HOST SEPARATELY & THE CLEANING FEE WILL BE INCREASED TO £56.
