Casa Nickel is on the Costa Brava and is perfectly located for beautiful sandy beaches, scenic walks, golf courses, marinas and Girona Airport, which is 30 minutes away. We are also close to the major towns of Platja D'Aro, Sant Antoni, Calonge, St Feliu and Santa Cristina, all of which are fantastic places to visit from the villa. The villa is light and airy.
Casa Nickel has 4 bedrooms, all individually named. The details are: The Aiqua Blava is a deluxe air-conditioned double room with en suite facilities. It has its own external entrance. Patio doors leading to the Jacuzzi terrace where there are sunbeds, table & chairs and large walk-in Barbecue.
The Tamariu is a double air-conditioned room that overlooks the mountains and the sea with en suite facilities.
The Llafranc room is a double air-conditioned room with luxury en suite facilities and fantastic views of Palamos Bay.
The S'Agaro room is a twin room with air-conditioning and en suite facilities.
There is a fully fitted kitchen, dining room and lounge with free sat TV.
Guests of Casa Nickel will enjoy the glorious countryside, the wonderful views and beaches in our truly relaxing villa.

Lovely stay

Had a great time here with my family of 5. Great pool, great balcony with a spectacular view and a nice breeze. And the kids loved the whirlpool with the views over see and city of Palamos.

The villa is very well equipped, the pool and jacuzzi are great and the BBQ large and easy to use. The views are outstanding, we particularly enjoyed a range of sunrises from the front bedrooms. The price for great views is that a car is essential for all activities, shops etc.The owner, Joan, is very welcoming and helpful.

Amazing location and lovely villa

Spent 10 days in this villa. Really clean and well presented. Pool is brilliant. Views of the surrounding area and sea are outstanding from such a great vantage point. Area really quiet and felt safe. Local towns and amenities not a long drive away. Locals and host very friendly and helpful.

This property is much better than even the pictures. Beautifully decorated, impeccably, clean, super comfortable with everything you could need for your holiday. We love the pool and the hot tub with the views. The Owner was super nice and extremely helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Our state could not have been better and we can’t wait to come back.

Everything you are looking for

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Nickel in September of 2024. The villa was as described, and the location is unbeatable for exploring Costa Brava. Supermarkets, restaurants, and the beach are all less than 15 minutes away. Joan was a wonderful host and was in communication with us throughout our stay. I would not hesitate to recommend the property to family members or colleagues looking to vacation in Costa Brava.

Enjoyable villa

We were happy to stay in this very complete villa with all possible amenities, heated pool and jacuzzi. The views are gorgeous and we liked the privacy and the several seating areas in the garden. Our host Joan was more than accommodating and kindly provided lots of little household things like coffee pods, tea, spices, oil, which make a stay do much easier. Thank you again!

Perfect complete house for a perfect stay

The house is situated in a nice neighbourhoud. The house is complete with a lovely pool and nice chairs. The kitchen was also very complete. For the future there have to be done some updates for the bedrooms etc. because people are getting taller. We had a nice holiday and Joan and Trevor will help you with everything.

Maison magnifique sur les hauteurs de Callonge

La villa situé sur les hauteurs de Callonge est magnifique avec une vue mer et montagne à couper le souffle !! Maison très bien équipée vous ne manquerez de rien !! Les 4 chambres avec chacune leur salle de bains un vrai plus quand on est plusieurs couples les lits faits à votre arrivée,le linge de toilette et de plage est fourni rien ne manque !!! La piscine et le spa sont chauffés !!Commerces à proximité et les plages sont à 15 mns en voiture !!! Joan est une hôte très attentionnée et très disponible !! Je vous recommande vivement la Casa Nickel vous ne serez pas déçus ......

De casa is geweldig, ruim, schoon, gezellig met een heel fijn zwembad/ jacuzzi. Het uitzicht is superWij waren er met het hele gezin met aanhang en een baby, er is genoeg ruimte, iedereen heeft zijn eigen kamer met badkamer wat ook heel fijn is. Je zit binnen een kwartiertje op het strand bij Palamós of Platje d’Aro. Joan is een super gastvrouw, niks is haar teveel. Wij gaan er volgend jaar weer naartoe dus dat zegt genoeg

CasaNickel is owned by Trevor and Joan Holt who moved to the Costa Brava in 2001 and set up the villa as a successful bed and breakfast. Today we rent the villa all year round and live locally.
Trevor spent 9 years in the Royal Name and travelled to 85 countries during his service. A great many have been introducted to me over the years but have to admit, whilst enjoyable, the Costa Brava has everything we need all year round.
Both of us have run our own IT businesses in the UK and were preferred suppliers to numerous prestigious organisations, such as BP. McKinsey's, Midland Bank.. and may more

Why they chose this property

Trevor stayed on the Costa Brava with his best friend and family for many years when he was a boy. He loved the area so much that his ambition was to one day live in this beautiful area.
He introducted the area to me just after we were married and I too fell in love with the area. Hence when we closed our companies in the UK to retire (according to my husband), we moved here and have no regrets.
