About this property

Las Costes

This characteristic and romantic holiday home Las Costes is located in a great location, in the heart of the Périgord Noir. Here you can enjoy peace and space in a historic setting with your loved one and / or your family. Special about this place are the garden and the private swimming pool and the great view from this lovely holiday cottage.

The house owes its charm mainly to the old stone walls, the wooden shutters and the lavender and rosemary around the house. Can you picture yourself sitting here, enjoying a relaxed breakfast with fresh croissants and delicious strong French coffee? Or on a lukewarm summer evening with a glass of wine, by candlelight, looking at the starry sky?

Inside
Inside, the house is very spacious, a really uncomplicated and large holiday home!

The open kitchen with bar is fully equipped, including a large dining table where you can eat or play games with the whole family. Or chill out together in the adjoining living room. A garden lounge set under the lush Wisteria is available for outdoor meals. And if you don't feel like cooking yourself, the excellent restaurant Chez Chastrusse can be reached on foot!

Las Costes consists of two floors with a total of four bedrooms, on the groundfloor one bedroom with a large double bed and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Upstairs are 3 more large bedrooms, each with two single beds of which two are airconditioned (one bedroom can be set up as a double bed on request). Upstairs is also the second bathroom with bath and toilet.

Outside
The large, slightly sloping garden with a lawn invites you to relax, either in the sun or in the shade under one of the beautiful old trees, while the children have fun in the lovely large private swimming pool of 10 x 5 mtr.

Surroundings
The surroundings of this holiday home are also really beautiful! It is ideally located in the Périgord Noir, with the city of Sarlat as its radiant center. The many sights and tourist attractions in this area are close by and well worth your visit, such as the Caves of Lascaux, Château de Castelnaud, Le Village du Bournat and the famous Jardins et Château de Marqueyssac. The picturesque town of Souillac is less than 8 km away. The Dordogne river is ideal for swimming or canoeing.
