Newly renovated in 2020, this fantastic single storey holiday property is bright and modern and the two en-suite bedrooms will appeal to friends, couples and small family groups. Located in the small and picturesque village of Worlington, which gives easy access to Thetford Forest, Newmarket, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and slightly further afield Norwich which is 44 miles away. it’s ideally placed to make the most of your time away in West Suffolk. The Norfolk and Suffolk coasts can also be reached in just over an hour’s drive. There is an open-plan kitchen/dining/living area and contemporary furnishings throughout the property and it is fully equipped with everything needed for your perfect break away. The owner also offers dressing gowns, disposable slippers, toiletries and a generous welcome pack. The garden wraps around the property and has a patio area with outdoor furniture perfect for al-fresco dining. The six seater hot tub with its star gazer canopy is perfect for relaxing in after a day out exploring the sights. There is also a kennel outside for dogs.

Thetford Forest is a short drive away and encompasses some 47,000 acres of forestry. Here you’ll find great walks, cycle routes and nature trails to explore. It is also home to High Lodge and Go Ape. Take the time to visit the picturesque town of Bury St Edmunds with its famous abbey and great places to eat, drink and shop. The town also hosts a popular Christmas market in early December. National Trust properties nearby include Ickworth Park, Oxburgh Hall and Anglesey Abbey and Gardens. Newmarket is perfect for an exciting day at the races. The historical university city of Cambridge, and Ely with its 12th century cathedral are both worth a visit. Golf is available locally. Shop 1¾ miles, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

We had a great stay. The cottage is amazing. It has everything we needed. We will be back. The welcome pack was also very nice and I think it was the best one I have ever had in the cottages I have stayed in. The pub over the road the walnut tree served great food .

What a wonderful weekend away with my Fiancé. The Cottage was perfect for what we needed. Relaxation and space. Great touch from the owner leaving some essential items like bread, milk, sausages, bacon, wine and buiscuits. We will definatley be coming back.

I booked it for a couple of nights to celebrate my partner’s 30th birthday, and everything about the cottage exceeded our expectations.From the moment we arrived, it was clear that great care had gone into creating a welcoming and cosy atmosphere. The decor was charming and thoughtful, with seasonal Christmas decorations.The space was immaculately clean, cosy and spacious.The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living area was the perfect place to relax, with no shortage of things to put on the TV. The bedrooms were lovely and everything you could need was available to us.The location was stunning, surrounded by peaceful scenery,Our fur baby Bailey loved every minute of running around tue property. The hot tub is a lovely touch, which we loved.I requested if it was possible to arrange some balloons and a birthday banner, I received a quick and prompt response and sure enough Tracie made sure it was there and waiting for when we arrived.Overall, Little Orchard was everything we hoped for and more. It made my partner’s birthday celebration unforgettable, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for providing a great place to stay!

We have just got back from staying here for a few nights. We had such a lovely break, area is lovely. There is a little village not far with shops/takeaways there is also a big Sainsbury, which comes in handy if you have forgot anything. Cottage is equipped very well and everything you could possibly need is there. Hot tub was a bonus really relaxing. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.Ps the dog also loved having the run of the garden, peaceful setting.

Only one criticism quite difficult to find cottage . I feel directions should be clearer to access property also check in/out details are incorrect on site. They are in fact in 3pm out 10am rather than 5pm/9am as stated on site
