Flat 4 - Appletorre House Holiday Flats

Main Building - Ground floor (4 steps). Large characterful studio flat with 2 full height sash windows with a fantastic garden view. Light, airy flat with bed/sitting room area and modern kitchenette with oven/grill, air frier, microwave, fridge and freezer compartment. There is a four poster king size bed and 40 inch smart TV and dining table and chairs.. Spacious modern bathroom with heated towel rail. Very popular. NOT SUITABLE FOR PETS due to full height windows.
Appletorre Apartments are self contained ensuite studios or flats situated on a quiet road, a 5 minute walk away from shops and pubs and 15 minutes walk to seafront and town centre, entertainments and Riviera Leisure Centre. Trains and buses are also just a short walk away and serve all major areas of the South West. The property is child friendly for 10 years upwards and also pet friendly (by prior arrangement at 10 pounds sterling per stay payable on arrival)

Each flat is fully equipped with large smart TVs, kitchen with oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, air frier, kettle, coffee machine and all pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juice, milk and bottled water as well as biscuits and mints are provided as part of the welcome pack. Kitchens have kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, tea towel, J cloth and sponge. Bathrooms have tissues, toilet rolls, liquid soap and toiletries. Bedrooms have a hairdrier, clothes airer, electric fan and alarm clock.

Books and games are available in the main hall. Free WIFI is available throughout. Bedding and towels are included in the price. Rooms are serviced every four days. Communal laundry facilities are available with washers, tumble driers and ironing facilities. Wall mounted automatic electric heaters are supplied in the rooms as well as electric blankets . There is free off road parking (one space per flat) and the large garden has been newly landscaped and offers outdoor seating, barbecue, water features and is illuminated by night. Flats 1,2,3,4,9 are ground floor, 5,6,7 first floor.

Check in time is between 3pm and 8pm. Check out is 11am. Keys are collected from Reception. Payment is made on arrival. The owner lives on site.

Bruce, (the Cavalier) and I are very comfortable here. The provision of the pet guard was very useful. The flat is superbly equipped. Very well located for bus stop and Torre Railway Station. Town centre and seafront is a 10 minute walk. I have already booked again for next year.

Exceptional property with very available and superb host. The flat was immaculate and had everything that you needed from orange juice in the fridge, filter coffee and machine, etc. right down to wash up liquid. Tv (not just free view) and a 4 Poster Bed, very comfortable. You are made to feel at home and that is how it felt. Looking forward to returning. Must mention the illuminations in the garden, lovely for relaxing on a summer evening.

Fab location - great value for money!

The apartment was presented well, clean, tidy with amenities for us. The apartments also have a beautiful shared garden, which looks equally as lovely at night! Andrea, the host was very friendly, able to help us and answer all our questions about the local area. The location is a short walk to the Torquay’s seafront with a number of shops even closer nearby! Can’t wait to go back!

I, Andrea, purchased the property in September 2015 and undertook a full renovation programme gradually installing new bathrooms and kitchens, renewing all heating, lighting and furnishings, replacing all windows and floor coverings and carrying out a full redecoration. The garden was landscaped and external evening illuminations and water features were installed. This programme was finally completed in 2019 but remains an ongoing process to ensure standards are maintained.

My background is in hotel keeping and international commerce. I hail from Leeds most recently where I established a high quality commercial and domestic cleaning service and holiday home business. I am assisted at Appletorre Flats by Tony, my Maintenance Manager, who keeps the place running efficiently and Terri my loyal and hardworking Housekeeper who ensures the rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean. I am indebted to them both!!!
